Debuting with an estimated $55.7 million, The LEGO Batman Movie couldn't outperform the opening of its predecessor, The Lego Movie, but the film did fare better than a number of previous Batman movies. In fact, unadjusted for inflation, The LEGO Batman Movie's first weekend is the fourth-highest opening for any Batman movie, topped only by Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and two of Christopher Nolan's Batman films.
