What does DOB mean on ejuice?

Hi I am new to vaping and I am on my 3rd bottle of ejuice. Each bottle has DOB with a date listed. Does this mean that was when it was made, kind of like date of birth? And why is there a date listed?

Date of Birth.

The day it was mixed for you so you can keep track of the age and better manage your E-Liquid rotation.

And also, you can use those dates as a guideline to monitor the steeping process of your E-Liquids so you know in the future that liquid A needs 14 days to mature for full enjoyment and liquid B needs 20 days.

And liquid C (that hopefully you got as a free sample) is just nasty and will never taste good even after two freaking years

The Ejuices that have a small window never seem to have one.
There is a highly regarded Vendor in the vape community that has truly wonderful juice.
The only problem is it takes 2 weeks to steep and it goes bad in 6 months!!!
Great juice if you are going to buy it and vape it all!
Not a good juice to buy in bulk once you find a flavor you like.

If I do not see a date when anything 20ml and higher shows up to my house I put the arrival date on with a sharpie.
So if it does start getting better or falling off I know how long it takes to do either/or.
