We all started at square one. :D

I've only been mixing about eight months, but have had some great success with lots of help from folks here. From the get-go I was able to stop ordering pre-mixed juice. Have rarely made a mix that I couldn't salvage, except for the one time I mixed a made-up caramel frappuccino, and omg was it bad. Had to throw the coil away and everything. But that was one mix out of literally dozens.

If you have any interest at all, you should consider it. Great hobby, creative, saves money (yes, it does, you KNOW it does), what's not to like? :) Has saved me money even with all the flavors I've bought, and I don't go through juice like some of these maniacs around here. :p

I haven't ordered any flavors in a while. Will have to restock sometime soon, and I'll order it then. Before I do restock, I have to decide on a new DIY vendor, since eliquid.com has stopped carrying all the stuff I normally order. I'm about disgusted with them anyway.

Looked at NicRiver because I like their PurNic, but the shipping was 20-some dollars on a 20-some dollar order. They must not be interested in selling to individuals. It's hard to find a vendor that carries good lines of flavors, plus has good prices on bases and nicotine all in one place. I'm bummed.

ETA: Think I just decided. I'll order flavors from BCF and bases/nicotine from VapeWild. Crisis averted.

OP on ELR says this needs 20 days to steep. I'm vaping the mix I put together last night and it's good right now. Can't say that it won't be better in 20 days, but I doubt any of it will be left by then.

Total flavors 19.5% (I know, heavy for a lot of you. I have trouble tasting orange without higher %)

I have a similar recipe worked up but haven't mixed yet. My vanilla shisha is much lower at 1% iirc I have WF tvc at 2%. No french vanilla though. I'll try this one with reduced vanillas. Thanks.

Oh yeah there's a bunch of ingredient if I remember correctly. I was lucky enough to get 3 bottles of the og from purecoils months ago. Saved one bottle for the holidays. I love vanilla flavor.

I remember that. Then chef ran out or kept them for himself lol.

I know the clone isn't spot on because it uses a lot of new flavors but if it's close, i'm sure it's gotta be decent

Not if you start with the Liquid Barn DIY STarter Kit like I did. You can make 1,400 MLs with it and still have the Labware to mix in the future. The flavor selections make it easy so 1st timers to be a success.

Nowhere close to that much for start up. Mix 10ml batches til you figure out what's good. Then make larger bottles after that. Spent less than half on diy start up as I did my last mod I just bought.

I think my first DIY order was about $50, and that included flavors, bases, nic, pipettes, syringes, and bottles. If I had it to do over again, I would save the $8 or so of that that I spent on the pipettes and syringes, and get a 10ml graduated cylinder instead.

No need to go wild to get started. Basic flavors like custards, vanillas, marshmallow or whipped cream, a fruit or two that you like, some sweetener, maybe a cookie or cake. You could do a lot just with those basics.

Perhaps more to the point, calculators like http://e-liquid-recipes.com make it easy to get started mixing by just counting drops. You can get more precise later, if you find that you want to.

Yeah this is happening. I just spent 100$CAD on 180ml of juice. It might last me 2 weeks. Maybe 3. Is better build a single coil on my RDA. My dual coil setup is a juice hog. And a battery hog.

Start doing DIY and forget about what it costs for how much you vape in a week. 5% cents an ML for me. Currently vaping over 100 MLs a week or more. I can't give an accurate estimate because it doesn't matter.

So it’s basically 10% the cost of retail juice if you blend your own. Even if your first 100ml goes to waste, this is a no brainer.

Oh, damn.....this looks good. I’ve been wrangling with an Orange Julius for a bit now. Looks similar to this one......maybe I’ll mix this up and see how it is.
