I do believe there is 2 versions of this mod from what I gathered the battery doors are different. V1 1 of the doors has the nipple for lack of a better term has the nippple below the magnet and v2 is above the magnet. Not sure if this is only difference but I have the v1 and its performance is stellar.

Thanks for the response! What is the significance of the nipple placement? All I know is I like nipples! o_O

I honestly think it doesn't make a difference it for doesn't let you switch the sides of the doors but other than that nada. It's a great mod though battery life isn't great but one battery lssts like half a day I'll either swap it out or plug it in using the onboard charger. If you're in the market vaporjoe had s deal the other day for a little less than 50.

It's a great deal on a killer mod

Got a d2 that should be here tomorrow and will decide which will be my go to vape

No problem you won't be disappointed and coming from the US you should be vaping away by the end of the week

A little late to this party but, I am really disappointed with how the check batt kicks in at 3.5v. Lately mine has been kicking in at 3.6v. It's ridiculous how often I change batteries on this device. Thinking about selling it. I've never thought about selling any other device I've owned.

You will like it, its a single battery 75 watt box mod battery life is what you would expect from a 75 watt mod, the life is the same as my ipv2 mini, If people want better life they should have bought a dual battery mod. I vape mine at 30-35 watts and it lasts most the day if your dripping and burning it at 50 watts plus just take an extra battery or plug it in when not in use:) Battery is a breeze to switch out anyway. And while you are waiting I went on ebay and found a authentic black silicone sleeve for 12 bucks, it comes with a clear sleeve which I hate and the black looks wonderful:)

Oh jesus, f ing edited

Just to be clear, I love everything about this device. Except the 3.5 cutoff. I rotate between several devices throughout the day. Yesterday I had to do three batt changes. Yes I'm running it at 55w. It still should bring the batts down to around 3.1 like most all other regulated devices. That would make for at most two batt changes for the same vape time. That's what I expected when I bought the device, it doesn't deliver on that one aspect. I'd be curious at what the ipv 2 mini and d2 shut down at. Bet it's closer to 3.1v. Allowing for longer run times. Back soon, I got to go change my battery lol.

The only cons I see is it's as heavy as my dual batteries Sigelei 100 Plus and 150W. In addition, sporadically when pressing the fire button (fully charged battery), it won't fire.

Your right, I forgot about the sporadic ghost firing. It happens about once every day or so, not that big a deal, but makes me wonder if something worse will arise stemming from this issue.

@MercuryVaper,

I think why it's cutting off at 3.5v is because when your trying to fire at 55 watts, the voltage sags down below the cutoff point. If your checking with a DMM (outside of the mod), your getting the unloaded voltage. I don't have the device so that's just what I think is happening.

Cheers,
Steve

I agree. But I shouldn't need to lower my watts just to deplete the battery more. I vape it at 55 because it taste right to me. I've had it go down to as low as 3.3 @ 30w. But the vape sucked for me. If I have to run a tank on it and run it at 20w, that's what I'll do. I just like my drippers more.

Nothing is mentioned in my user manual, regarding updates. Although, it would be a nice to have! (Hey Sigelei, HINT!)
