Hi people I've just got a smok cube mini with a efest 30000mah but been reading up on them and it's not looking good I'm in the UK and would like to know what should I be using and any ideas where I can get them from please.
Cool thanks, I've got loads of stuff to do my own mixing but not had a good mix yet, I'm just coming off cigs so guess my taste buds are still dead.My favorite battery at the moment is the LG HG2's, a 3000 mah 20 amp battery. Old faithful is the Samsung 25r's 2500 mah 20 amp, and the Sony VCT 4 a 2100 mah 20+ amp battery.

One thing that helped me get off the stankies.Cool thanks, I've got loads of stuff to do my own mixing but not had a good mix yet, I'm just coming off cigs so guess my taste buds are still dead.
I agree with this OTHER than the support of Sony batteries.Besides those the LG HE2 or HE4 and the Sony VTC5 are also good. The Samsung 25R is a very robust battery that you can't go wrong with.
Those are the companies that actually make the batteries. ANYTHING else is a re-wrap and not all re-wrappers are honest about there ratings. There are no batteries made that are more than 30 amps but outfits like Efest clam theirs are 35 - 40 amp. BULL. Some 40 amp Efests tested out at 15 amps. Stick with the big three and you cant go wrong.
I should add that the batteries you have are going to be alright unless you plan on vaping over 100 watts.
Samsung 30q
They're actually 20a, Samsung being their usual selves and rating things lower than they actually are. 25rs are also more than 20amps (but not quite a full 25amp IIRC is what Mooch found). If you look at Mooch's chart the 30qs are the only batteries from the big 3 brands he rated as a higher continuous (20amps)That's a 15 amp battery I know folks use them and fine for a low power mod. But I don't.

And they cost more than a 25R
And this is why we like you so much here JonI can confirm the 30Q is right on par with the HG2 and the only difference in the rating is that LG was uncharacteristically aggressive in rating these, probably for marketing reasons.
Also I should mention the HG2 fake situation right now is really, really bad. It may be worse than the VTC5 situation a year ago. So 30Q might be better from that perspective as well.
I would like to chime in about the fake HG2 issue.
We actually caught wind the counterfeits long before they arrived in China.
Battery Bro is buying LG HG2s directly from Korea, so you don't have to worry about fakes with us. We supply many of the largest e-cigarette vendors and retailers in the world for this reason.
The fake HG2 shipment are actually 2500 mAh cells, but they look exactly like the 3000 mAh cells. The only way to know is to run capacity tests as far as I am aware.
