You let a 9yo fire an Uzi on automatic at the firing range, but you can't have herthem hear the word FUCK on the radio. Seriously?
I especially hate how some people use words thethat sound like curse words, like fudge and heck, thats. That's really retarded.
How about not being able to listen to a song because all of the beeping?
We are all adults (well some of us are) and we all use them, so whatswhat's the big deal?

@nightshard, if you're not from the States, maybe you haven't seen/heard (iconic comedian) George Carlin's acclaimed, GIGANTICALLY FAMOUS (STILL, even forty years later!), constantly referenced comedy bit about the 7 words you can't say on TV (piss has since gotten the green light). Like Carlin, I think the majority of us laugh at the "dirty word" police. Some of his less exalted routines are funnier, but here's Carlin's legendary bit -
