where to buy batteries and chargers online...

Hello VU Family,

Hope everyone is well and vaping some flavours they like. Just wanted to ask you guys where is the best place to buy IMR batteries and chargers online. Did a little bit of digging and found a place called liionwareahouse.com any one have any experience with this place and are they a legit online retailer? Any and all recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Lion is one of the vendors everyone recommends for batteries. Ive never used them but from what I hear all of their batteries are legit and tested for authenticity. If you want something heavily forged like VTC5s or something, Id definitely go with them.

Edit - aside from the difference in mah (which to my limited knowledge means how long the battery will last) whats the real difference between:

I didn't notice the edit, but Jon told me, the flat tops would last me longer and work better for my mods. He wasn't wrong. Surely there's a more technical answer to that, so I'll leave that to pro's.

Yep what huck said.
Button tops if you are using a provari that need the button top to make connection.
10amp and 20 amp are the drain rating on a constant power drain from the battery .
If using a mechanical, series or parallel mod you want 20 amp and above depending on your build in your atty.
If regulated or tc 20 amp will do ya just fine.

There are only a handful of mods that use strictly button top batteries. In fact unless you use an old provari, you will never need one.

Most mods you will want a battery with a 20a CDR(Continuous Discarge) When you see things that reference higher rating consult this chart. As a general rule, Its accepted that the Samsung 25r, LG HE4 and sony vtc4 and vtc5 are your best bets for vape batteries.

so my plan is to get a releaux rx 200. looks like the LG HG2 18650 are what I'm going to go with based on this insight.

get at least 2 sets. They are married in that trio.
Label them abc 123....

6 slot charger will be your friend.

on a side note instead of starting a whole other thread, where is the best place to buy wire for coils?

I mean counterfeited, as in fake. Sony VTC5s are probably the most counterfeited battery on the market along with the VTC4s. Personally I like the VTC4s. Everyone has their own favorite, but the VTC4 is the only one with a 30 amp continuous draw rating.

How about the 1lb roll that has over 10,000 feet on it? lol, bet a couple builders on here would roll through that in a week.

Id freakin LOVE to see more complex coil wire being made on rolls. You can get claptons, fused clapton, 2x and 4x twisted, and hive wire all on rolls, but Id like to see stuff like framed staples on a roll

10,000 feet is crazy. I'm pretty green to this whole building but I'm trying to soak up as much info as possible. I'm going to read up on the complex coils.

I just did a double twist, double backed on it self twisted in the opposite way... looks like braided chain link... 24 ga.

Not sure what the resistance is since it is beefy enough to require pliers to roll that coil, and I do not have an atty that will fit it.
Until I get my delivery tomorrow.

I think thats a Hive coil. Ive got a roll of Hive wire and its 2 2 strand twisted wires twisted together.
