It can be, depending on how, or how much, you order. Essential does run great deals if you're buying in bulk. I get free shipping on some of their pairings. They offer PG/VG combos and also glycubes of VG that usually qualify. I only mix for me, so I don't need too much, LOL.
Just dawned on me, not sure if you're in the states, or not. Not sure how their shipping goes for overseas, if not. Might be why you asked about these companies.
