Which one of the new big deck RTA's?

There's getting to quite a few (most still in preorder) with a myriad of features but velocity style deck in common. I'm wanting one for big builds and have come close to ordering but just can't make a decision. So go ahead, push me over the edge with your convincing argument for the best one. :) Thanks

Ive got a Supreme RDTA on the way. I havent tried it yet, but it appealed to me the most. however, I cant make an arguement why you should choose it over any other.

As far as I know The Griffin is the largest deck available. Even it's 25mm version isn't really a larger deck (maybe slightly but doesn't seem to be). If you can wait a month I'd grab the 25mm Griffin, if not just grab the Griffin you won't be disappointed.

Have the Griffin, want bigger (no vcmt). Maybe the 25's don't have bigger decks?

The Griffin claims a 16.1mm deck
The Supreme claims 16.5mm, so slightly larger.

Griffin RTA for now, until my RTA is finished and produced....

The Aromamizer Supreme uses the same garbage wicking system from the first version...which is why that RTA sucked ass...

Why do they go to a 25mm diameter with only the slightest increase in deck size? To increase tank capacity is all I can think of, but that could be accomplished with tank height increase. Don't they pay any attention to what is wanted by the end user? Nevermind, stupid question lol.

Keep hearing unsubstantiated rumors of a raymo designed rta in the works. If that doesn't have a bigger deck I would be surprised, and a bit disappointed. If true, I would be willing to wait over a month as it is a want, not need.

edit - lol, you posted while I was typing

They didnt even increase the deck size, they removed the threading on the sides of the deck and somehow to them thats adding a millimeter to the deck...It didnt get any bigger.

The Raymo RTA is a RTA that is being made by Augvape and I am the Collaborator, its my RTA. It will have a deck size of 20mm. If you want info on my RTA then check out the Boreas RTA or the Alleria V2 threads that whiplash_leon posted, he works for Augvape. They just finished up the Alleria RTA which was Roxy from ECF's design and now my RTA should be the main focus so it should be in prototype stage very shortly and hopefully if I pass its inspection then it will be produced for the public soon after. Not trying to gloat or anything but I feel and many others do that it will be the best RTA of 2016, there is nothing like it by design and its has every feature anyone would ever want and then some. It will also be reasonably priced and easy to maintain and work on. I made sure their wouldnt need to be changes or improvements while sketching it out, I wanted it to be a fully functional product the first time it was created, I feel the better the prep work the less work in the end will be needed.

Griffin or Gemini. As others are stating, the 25mm version of the Griffin is not getting a big change. Want to try something massive, I'm talking 6 postholes Velocity style, go with the So Horny Rda. Expensive as sh!t ($180) but looks amazing.

The griffin is great. Best flavor. I also have an aromamizer that will be shelved for good.

Great build deck for larger builds. Great airflow. The tank design is awesome. The list can go on.

The only bad thing I can say about it is the tank capacity.

Correct sir, but the the name was just changed...It was the updated Boreas.
Boreas Thread Link

Well apparently, someone needs to inform Roxy about which tank she designed then.....;)
She calls it the Boreas by Augvape and this is the latest picture she posted of it along with a wicking tutorial:

Someone should inform Leon then, in the Boreas thread-second post he said the Alleria is the Updated version.

So it's the same (or updated) tank with different names? I read raymos review of the Alleria and it is similar in deck size to the Crius, but also read somewhere that the deck on the Boreas is BIG.

Nope. They are 2 very different tanks. Both by Augvape (the Boreas was collaborated with roxynoodle from the other forum). The Boreas is similar to the UD Bellus and Supreme RDTA

Boreas RTA

1. 25mm diameter
2. 17mm huge build deck
3. 8ml capacity
4. Come with two decks,2.0mm juice hole edition and 2.5mm juice hole edition.
5. 2.5mm juice hole for vaping from 80 watts up and high VG juice,2mm juice hole for regular vaping.

The Alleria Is more similar to the Crius and Griffen, but with a juice flow control like the Serpent by Wotofo:

Alleria RTA

1. 23mm diameter
2. 304SS
3. Peek insulator
3. Top fill system
4. Compatible with 510 drip tips
5. Glass chimney,Show your build,wick and vapor
6. 14mm Velocity style deck,
7. Juice flow Control for vaping high VG juice
8. 3ML Capacity
9. Derlin Drip tip

The Alleria prototype was only held together with o-rings (like shown in raymos pic above), but the final version uses a caged glass tank that threads together like a traditional RTA.

Thank you. Looks like subtanksupply is the only place that has the Boreas, preorders to be released in a couple days (so they say). I guess 40 bucks with 2 decks is not too bad a price. And it appears that it has an Aromamizer type juice system? Oh lord, that is going to make some people absolutely livid....:D

Yep. Bottom fed like the Aromamizer. The Boreas by Augvape and the Supreme RDTA by Steam Crave are direct competitors. They are Incredibly similar, design-wise.

I should have the Boreas in my hands in about a week and a half and a first impression of it pumped out shortly afterwards, like I did for the Alleria.

There's also the Kepler Apache 25mm RTA

12729582_474209626097186_38511999_n.jpg

I find juice control on these bigger tanks a must, especially when the juice has room to be forced upwards...it will have the same issues as the VCMT does with juice control...which is basically none and if you wicking is not perfect you will dump all your juice out. Other then that this is a really nice RTA. If the made a juice control that works for it it would be the best out so far for "large deck RTA's"

Very interesting. Only $40 too. Man, those are some big juice wells, see where raymo is coming from. But for the price...

Just watched a vid, you are stuck with that metal drip not changeable

Lol, yeah. Can't find any good pics of the deck, but if it's only 16mm then join the crown. But the quad coil might be fun to build on, and maybe there is a chance that it will fit into a tfv4 base and be available as an accessory. Never pulled apart the tfv4, might have to blow the thick dust off that relic and see.

Any thing less than direct to the coil Air Flow& Aromamizer wicking style is Out, IMO.
Bottom Air Flow with the wick channels is So 2014 :(
So my Hastur showed up a few days ago, it's nice, good tank all around but nothing new. Still just a Bellus with Side /topfil and a bigger tank. I have a Boraes on pre order it looks good But wont know till it shows up :(
I have 2 Supremes on pre order Cant wait till they show up :)
My pick for the best new Big deck Atty will be the Supreme! Big capacity, Juice control, Top fill, big Deck, new coil centred in air hole design.
This looks like the first Direct to coil Air Flow atty that has proper top fill with Juice Control/ shut off so the chamber don't flood when top filling :)

It actually works very good, great flavor and good vapor production. But during the build I think the screaming scared my dog...

Im not a fan of the Aromamizer wicking...Its never done the job for me as I feel there isnt enough vacuum pressure to draw the juice in the wicks if your using anything of 60/40, but if you got it to work then thats good to hear. I would love the Supreme, if it wasnt for the wicking method it has...

It works well when finished but I like rebuilding repeatedly, and for people that like to slap something together quickly, be it often or not its a very tedious design.

Maybe thats the difference? I use 60/40 juice and get great wicking with the up from bottom style juice flow :)
The biggest advantage to me is how easy it is :) I use horizontal coils, I pass the wick through and just lay the ends on the deck.
Just as easy as wicking a dripper :) With a juice Chanel style deck I find it can be hard to get it right, too much or not enough cotton in the Chanel & it dry hits or floods :(
I guess I'm lucky that PG don't adversely affect me, I love how 60/40 brings out the flavour and will probably stay at 60/40 :) I think if i had problems with Pg and had to use Max VG I would try to thin out the juice with distilled water?
