I can tel you why you having issues with it.
The black lines were way to thick and deep with to much ink it is what is called as going on holiday.
Red esp from the time frame you are saying is notorious for compounds in the ink reacting to UV light.

Honestly I have seen some old tattoo work on the old guy that used to run the shop I went too, other than skin sag and loss of tone they are clear as the day they were put there.

Ink is ink unless it is a backroom mascera job.. which I have seen. I got some bleeding lines also, just not on my wrist.

I spent a fair amount of time under and behind the needle.
Not knocking it at all just letting you know why you have sun issues, esp the red.

Yellow is VERY tough to stay laid. It goes normally on one spectrum... ear wax yellow or complete fade.
Top sash in the shield has some healing damage where the scab was knocked loose on healing.
Bottom on is good to see the artist work around the mole. but he wonked the sabers.

Stayed well.
Yellow has a serious time staying.
White is another it goes clear or yellow.
Red had some compounds that in the time frame and still some cause a reaction that react violently to UV.

The red doesn't really bother me, just the fuzziness of the black. But I kinda have myself to blame too, in later years, so much gardening, so little sunscreen. My forearms are looking like well-worn-in leather.

I've had three tats re-lined. They look much sharper and vibrant as a result.

Got a crispy piping hot fish and chips and some tall ice cold Hella Hoppy double IPAs waiting for my wife and me down at the pub. Dinners are so huge we can split one and still be stuffed. Maybe sit outside, they have a pond with a lot of ducks who basically just rape each other all the time, kind of a disturbing show, but not in a Bill Cosby sort of way. Maybe more like an NBA basketball star way. Anyways, cheers! Have a groovy weekend!

I've given some thought to just having mine removed... but, 1) no insurance, and 2) don't really care. I have a big wristwatch I could cover it with, if it really bugged me. Mostly I just ignore it. But, as it gets fuzzier and fuzzier... the thought of having it removed grows more and more attractive.

Hmmmm, nah.... When I was 18, it was kind of a statement (to my mother: "I don't care what you think, it's MY body"). At 54.... no statement needed. :D If she hasn't figured out yet that I don't care what she thinks, then she's just stupid. :D

So after months of waiting with no reply from @Heaven Gifts on the faulty mod win, yes video was sent.
I decided to open up the Balrog I did not win... counting it as a loss.

Glad it never powered up. Found a second set of buttons melted to the board. Super glad it arc fizzle toasted before I was pushing current under load to it.
