I have to deal with crap like this all the time. Wal-mart is about the only store I know that has absolutely no dress code requirements. We have people walking around in there half naked all the time, and you can't do that even in a Quicky-Mart here. It's totally disgusting.

That's to much time at Wally World for me, I literally only go if I know exactly what I'm getting.

Ummmm ok. Lost me, dude.
All I know is when it gets cold, the trout school up. Once you find them, it's game on.

Funny.. we used to drive down to San Felipe fishing for white sea bass, yellowtail and grouper.... stopped in Nogales to get some terminal tackle and heard fishing was good at Rocky Point..but it was way better at San Felipe..actually have towed my boat down further south to Bahia de la Concepcion, (Conception Bay) on a awesome camping/fishing trip with a few of my freinds... Now that was some trip!! lolol

No kidding? Never went there, but, I would go to rocky point at least twice a month! I crossed the boarder through the reservation and just made a straight shot down.

Fishing???

I can't wait for it to warm up and bass season to start, got new line coming for all my poles. Been looking online for new plastics and other lures, also looking forward at getting some walleye this year.

I am an avid bass angler. Yamamoto sticks are my go to for soft baits. Texas rigged. Gets them big mouth bitches every time.

Sounds like my set up, I've always had luck with watermelon color.

I'll give those a try, I have a spot that's about a 2 mile walk from the road and they start hitting about 30-45 minutes before sunrise and will last a sold 1.5hrs of catch after catch.

One of my best friends moved to Mesa Az and it was he that started talking about these fishing trips down south...with him being Hispanic and fluent in Spanish I thought what the hell, let's go check it out. Glad we did too, fishing down there is awesome!

This year will be my 20yr mark living down here. 40 min west is the gulf, and 45 min east is lake O, and I've yet to put a line in the water.
I can relate. I used to fish all the time when I lived in MS but have yet to wet a hook since moving to GA back in '84.

Yes it is huh? You know the fishing I'm used to, and damnit if the action wasn't better there. (Don't tell anyone around here I said that) hahaha
My one and only thing I wasn't a fan of was the texture of the shrimp and shellfish. I'm so used to the gulf salinity. The fishing though was awesome! And even after travel expense was cheaper than here. I'm gonna want to head to rocky point this summer now. Haha
The cantina and reef bar was a kick in the ass too!

I alternate between the stradic and Curado for light tackle both on falcon coastals. Heavy tackle it's beast master all the way

Edit: it looked like hooked on phonix

Back from second trip to Walmart in the last 24 hours. And car decided to start slipping the transmission and started rumbling like a lawnmower. Can't afford another car payment but I don't think I wanna put any more money into the POS, we've dumped so much into it last few years

There comes a point when it just ain't worth it anymore, and reliability concerns cause way too much stress.

Sorry to hear you're having car problems. It could be a relatively cheap fix or a major expense. I'd say get it checked, but if the car has become a money pit you might be better off dumping it for another.
Just curious, is your check engine light on?

That sucks. You might get lucky and quick cheap fix but if not you might get a good deal on a different one.

I like fishing saltwater bass here locally
Same basic tackle as freshwater but with a bit stronger line/drag..Soft plastics are dynamite for the spotties and live bait for the bigger sand and calico bass..

This is my favorite bass setup

Still have more reels than I do mods.. I find fishing a little more pleasurable than I do vaping, lol

Hubby is great at fixing cars so he's gonna look at it and see what it needs first. If it's over a certain dollar amount or work amount we will just cut our losses and trade her in. Bought it brand new 9 years ago and she's got a lot of miles on her
Edit: no check engine light at the moment, certain lights randomly coming on then off the next time you drive it
