Looks like it's a ceramic type single coil head that can be re-wicked..should be good for flavor chaser's maybe...

Yea, I like the fact that it is a ceramic encapsulated tungsten coil, at MVS store they state 6 months out of one coil, as a matter of a fact, I ordered a puck of Native Wicks Cotton from them. If you build I highly recommend you check out Native.

but would Native have wicks to use in my Griffin? Above pic is organic cotton after vaping 100mls of juice..recently got away from all tanks that uses those expensive pre made replacement coils...lol

Just stay with JOC. I wouldn't recommend native wick for a RTA. A dripper? Sure

Alright, I'd like to give the guy that determined that one's yard needs to be totally green and level to be the standard, while wasting time, money, chemicals and gas doing so, a piece of my mind. Why not how well one can integrate indigenous flora to be a part of the local ecosystem, instead of fighting it?
And while I'm at it, the guy that invented ear and nose hair too...

There is something to be said about a 36 inch long solid strand as compared to, well you know, and no seeds.
It can't keep up in a RTA. I have a buddy that swore by it. It's all he used. Until he got a RTA. I'm not saying it isn't good stuff (it's damn good). But it doesn't work that well in a RTA

My God @BigNasty,,,,you have been through some shit!!! Coded, on top of everything else??? Harsh! Glad you came back to us!

I've decided I hate making coils. I completely SUCK at it! I have no patience for it. They look like shit, they don't fit right, they don't burn evenly,,,, GAH!!!! Aren't there places I can buy pre-wrapped coils?? Shit, I've got two more spools of wire and a ton of cotton coming this week. Maybe a griffin isn't right for me.

What seeds? Lol
The cotton balls I use are organic...no seeds my friend, and can be rolled into the right diameter for my build, which is usually 3mm ID or more..under $4 for a 100 ct bag at my local CVS ..no online ordering or waiting on vape mail works for me, and they wick great! Just gotta get a couple more Geekvape Griffins and retire my two TVF4's, lol

I know, I know, I'm surrounded by them, and they can also be used to clean a wound, clean gear, or remove makeup! ;)

I've watched several. I guess I need to watch some more. I need to find "coil wrapping for dummies". Or maybe " coil wrapping for dummies with bad eyes and arthritic hands". I won't completely give up,, I just get real frustrated, real fast. Thanks for the pep talk Break

I heat the wire over the stove a section at a time red hot and let it cool. Makes it easier to work with. Then I use a coiler to make the coils and heat them red hot over the stove and squeeze with a tweezer. That kind of gives them a good head start. Then once you have them in dry fire until they turn orange and squeeze agian with a tweezer. Few times of that and a little manipulating and they should get to fire from the inside out. That's what you want them to do. Keep trying you'll get it !

Stopping in for a minute. Got food shopping done, cleaning and washed both cars. Things calmed down with the kid they got him into another place and he just called and sounds ok. Just when I thought it would be over and rest............Have to go to my sister in law's 50th Birthday party at a place where there's nothing I like to eat  Just give me a good pizza or anything that will clog my arteries LMAO

I used to use a propane torch to heat the wire first but found it really wasn't necessary... I like wrapping straight off the spool, like 10 wraps of 24g Nichrome on a 3mm bit x2..install the coils, pulse the switch until they turn red starting in the center out ..use tweezers to adjust if necessary.. takes all of 5 min..just sayin
