Im terified of the thing. Im really hopeing it will keep me extra cautious instead of stupid

I think having a bit of fear for a motorcycle is healthy. Keep that bit of fear. It might save your life
My neighbor is a biker. Dudes mid 60's and a hard ass. Has a bike shop as a cover for his "other" business. His bike lift was leaking hydraulic oil and he didn't realize it. All I heard was him yelling for help. The bike had his leg pinned and he couldn't move.
Moral of the story is you don't have to ride one for it to hurt you lol

Like all things pharma, they effect everybody different. Antihistamines amp me up, and bounce me off the walls.
Benadril fucks my world up. I spin out and then take a nap.
Zyrtec fouls me like no other, like coma and stupid for 30 solid hours.
pseudoephed is the ko hammer from hell.

Amen to that. If you're too afraid of it you'll wreck it. But you should always respect it and be very aware of everything around you. In my jeep no less I've managed to avoid several accidents just in the few weeks I've had it. I swear people are driving worse and worse every day around here

American drivers suck. Speaking as an American driver lol. We don't pay enough attention sometimes. We the people are our biggest threat

reminds me of the time I allowed my buddy to park his shit box project nova in my driveway.
He is under it working on it and I go out and run my errands... come back three hours later and see his feet weakly kicking and stuff from under it.. with feeble pleas for help.
The jack slipped as I drove away and the transmission (smaller three speed or he would have been dead) pinned his dumb ass to the concrete under the shit mobile.

I got him out of the spot and he sold it for a loss the next day. He refused to work on it farther.

That really sucks! I would love to have a project car preferably a 73 road runner but I'll take what I can get lol

As for the jack. I always inspect my tools and use jackstands whenever I'm under something that comes in at over a ton.

The dude was as bright as a box of broken bulbs. '
Seriously the concept of brushing teeth and using soap in the bath or shower and or changing socks daily seriously fucking stumped him. Cars and complex shit should not have been worked on.

Dude would pop his valve covers off DAILY too fidget around and wonder why shit was blowing oil like a wellhead.
Put his distributor on 180 backwards. His dad being as genius as his son and claimed to be a former mechanic just kept squirting starter fluid down the carb trying to get it to turn over... BOOOM!!!! went the fire ball in a backfire that was heard a 1/4mi away, blowing dumb fuck dad's eyebrows off, SLAM!!! went his skull denting the cross member of the hood and poof went 95% of DD's hair.
I pissed myself laughing seeing DD wandering around smoldering.. he did not catch fire and was cussing a blue streak. That was the ok to laugh myself sick.

Distracted driving is what I notice most, followed by a lack of tolerance, with lastly WAY OVER CAUTIOUS drivers creating dangerous issues by varying typical traffic laws/courtesies for right of ways.

Thanks Andria I 'll ask my Dr. if I can try that with the drugs they give me:)

Probably a good idea if you're taking a lot of other stuff, but it's a pretty mild antihistamine -- that's why I take 3, or even 4. :D But the heavy-eye effect is priceless for getting to sleep.

I just wish this headache would go the fuck away; it's been driving me nuts for days now. At least I finally got some tylenol so I quit snarfing so much ibuprofen, so my tummy's feeling better.

Add some Amish buggies to the mix to make it fun. People (including semis) passing them on hills and double yellows, going at least 10 over the speed limit. Coming around a hairpin turn and oh there they are again, and someone is being impatient and passing them. And at night you can barely see them. That's a whole nother rant though hehe

Oh I know. Did many drives thru Amish country in PA in my youth, with buggy encounters. Though, cell phones were things of Dick Tracy fantasy then.

I drank a good IPA. A double. That's almost like two. A tall one. And I...well, I live in California. 'Nough said. I am crushing some nuts. No, peanuts. I have chocolate ice cream with Reces Cups in it. Oh yes I do. And hot fudge, well I have to nuke it to make it hot. And whipped cream out of a can, just take a little toot to prime it here...oh yeah, lol. Here we go. I'm gonna eat the hell out of this and go to bed. Good night c u 2 morrow all! :D

I look like tarzans Jane. Still going out in public anyway. Birds nest hair is pretty hot right? Lmao

I slept like a rock Tuesday night, not long after my final post in the thread "Whiskey's Corner #2 - aka @Whiskey's West."

Here's what arrived for me this morning:

cameringo_2016-03-30_124629.jpg

Custom-measured to my height, weight, and 'bum breadth.' Leather seat, and it'll run up to its maximum speed (5 mph) for five - six hours. Not a 'Sporty' or a Road King, but the most comfortable seat that rolls, with this joystick controller:

cameringo_2016-03-30_231922.jpg

Just like when I pilot the Schweitzer 300 series helo (since my disability, I haven't flown a 300 in years).

I'm sitting in it right now; so, in reply to @always9988's post this morning:

Sometimes, in our life-hike - we may look a bit frazzled when facing the immediate time that will arrive, but -

We will arrive, nevertheless - with gratitude, and a sense of purpose.

Frazzled, or not. @Breazy_Com, I know that everyone that puts print, pics, vids and memes into this thread are happy to see you out of the hospital.

@Break-19's voice-to-text smartphone/tablet assistance to @Saddletramp1200 was a solution for Saddle's frustration since his accident.

Excellent stuff, @Break-19. We are now into Thursday, the last day of the Ides. Payday comes Friday, for me... gotta get some new rubber onto our soon-to-be "Colorado Chariot." I found a great price for some all-weather 70K-mile Pirellis, but... Liz just woke up, it's nearly twenty minutes of one AM, so - I'm sorry that I missed the 300 or so posts today, but - forgive Liz and I - we've been a bit overwhelmed with this MOVING stuff.

I've been chatting with Liz; so, this post will be in around one in the morning, EDT.

Liz and I send love to everyone -

LW & Liz ;) ('night)
