One of my favorite things so far is Crown Royal Black. It goes down so smooth that I can drink it straight, well hell after getting curious about everclear, I can drink anything straight!!!
I haven't had the Black, but if you like Crown Royal, a nice little tip, go to Costco and pick up the Kirkland Canadian Whiskey, it's Crown, but for less than half the price!

Anyways, I'm the worst person to ask about alcohol, I drink Black Velvet and love it! :D

I will say the best thing about drinking cheap liquor is that no one asks you for some. When I go for weekend retreats with buddies I'll bring a bottle of something fancy to start out the weekend with them and make a contribution, but then I bring a big bottle of my Black Velvet which none of them will dare to touch anymore, and when they do I happily oblige and then I get to see the face of regret immediately, such joy :D

I we t threw 40$ and I could easily go a few more hours of heavy drinking.....
That's how I always feel, usually end up going to some fancy bar with my buddies, $9 shots, so a double is $18, and 2 is $36, so after my first drink I'm at almost $40 and if it weren't for the mentioned side drinks I'd not even be buzzed.

All that makes it easy to not drink at restaurants though. Amazing how cheap (in relative terms) a nice meal is when you don't accompany it with a couple drinks.

. . . Wish I could find that kind of deal. Used to have a nice Dive around here with close to that. Large 22oz beers at $5 each weren't bad, and $4 shots, but that bar closed a few months ago, and now I think the best I've seen is $5 shots during a happy hour. The problems with Southern California, everything is damn expensive.

That's why I gave up the bar scene and took up the Costco plan.

For sure! Kirkland Vodka as i understand it is now Kettle One, their Canadian Whiskey is Crown Royal, and not sure on the rest. Basically when those companies make their stuff they take the best of the batches and fill their orders, whatever is left gets Kirkland thrown on it and distributed through Costco, they make extra, and don't diminish the brand. So consumers can get equal or slightly lesser quality for a fraction of the price, just without the prestige of the label, which only matters if you're an idiot.

On that note, we had my brother's Bachelor party at a beach house (literally could jump into the water from the deck) and some college kids were partying in one down a bit, they walked over and we partied some. They laughed at my Kirkland whiskey, so we made them drink some "Smokey Joes" (not bad as long as you let it breath, otherwise it's like drinking liquid smoke mixed with everclear) whiskey, which was downright hilarious. Anyways, idiots care about the label, drunks like myself care about the price tag :D

G'morning Kev, How was the show yesterday?
Good morning Whis:). When I left the house yesterday A.M. (6:45am), it was doing NOTHING. When we got to NYC, it was raining:mad:. We still walked the LONG walk down to the Javits Center (about 35 minutes at a FAST pace, normally takes about 45 mins). After MAJOR security going into the Center, we got in about 10am. Walked around for about 4 hours. Paul Sr. from Orange County Choppers was there. Left NYC @ 3pm, and got back into CT for pizza and beers @ 5pm. Rain held off in CT til' last night, and then it rained really hard and we got a little coating of snow overnight.
