I have to take Ambien 10 mg. and Melatonin just to have a hard time sleeping, I guess it's cause of the cancer drugs.

Chamomile tea!, it's not perfect but much better than decaf coffee and warm beverages are nice for bed. Also stretching like 15mins before bed helps a LOT!... either way I have the same issues, I know why though, using whiskey to sleep for a couple years and trying to break that habit leaves me staying up far too late usually. But... It's Friday so...:drunk::zombie:

I guess I'm pretty lucky..I can fall asleep hanging on a nail, lol
Seriously I've always fall asleep rather easily, my head hits the pillow I'm out within 15min..
Recently dumped my super single waterbed for a King size Tempur-Pedic memory foam mattress. It was rather pricey but I sleep like the dead now, it's super comfortable and don't wake up with a stiff back or neck...Average about 8hrs solid sleep and lots of room for extracurricular activities with the girlfriend, lol

I can't bear chamomile, tastes like spearmint to me, which I've always hated. But I started making hot cocoa that's half warm milk... it really works! Warm milk by itself is nasty, but throw some cocoa in it.. it's tasty! :D

Just another proof that chocolate makes everything better. :D

Considering it's a mild narcotic, absolutely! And milk as well! (both affects the brain in similar ways to xxium, so when babies go to sleep after feeding it's not just because they're full, it's because you drugged them!)

I hear you though, all tea is unique, has it's own flavors. I'm actually quite a big fan of chamomile's flavor, it took a little getting used to but once I did it's quite tasty. Black tea which I drink most often is still quite bitter, but it's worth it just to change up from the typical water and get something nice and warm in the morning. Crazy how warm drinks both wake you up and put you to sleep so well. Anyways, Chamomile is as far as I've found one of the most diverse types of tea, different brands are vastly different. I bought this Tazo brand this last time having thought it was supposed to be better, but it's fruitier, good, but the smell is a bit off putting as it smells kind of like orange peel, but it's tasty so it's all good. I've gone through 3 brands in the last 2 weeks and each was distinctly different, certainly a minty flavor though, I think that's the key binding so like you said spearminty would be an apt description, but it's good to me.

Even if it's not something you like, any warm beverage is good for sleep, I keep buying this "fruit sampler" pack(non caffeinated still), it has Black Cherry, Wild Berry, Blueberry, and Raspberry, all delicious, sometimes I mix up the evening cup with those, or even the mid day cup... god I drink a lot of tea since I stopped drinking so much :inlove: mixes so well with a vape, the only thing I don't do is mix those same berry flavors with the same flavor vape, it's too weird.

Good night @LOveWerks and Liz I hope tomorrow brings you good news and stress relief my friends:inlove::goodnight:

@Jimi, I chose your post from the other night to reply to, as Liz and I believe that your soul is among the sweetest here - and we're saying good night this early Saturday AM to the '...sweet soul sounds...' of none other than you, @Jimi.

Stress is a PITA - we received our Class III hitch today via FedEx (and the wiring), but the box had been ripped open by our nutso neighbor, as he gets FedEx packages at least three times a week.

There's a No Tresspassing sign on our property, on a tree along the driveway... what's the deal? It was addressed to me, anyway... well, it won't be long... we're leaving soon.

More house stress in Colorado - it may be some time in an extended stay suite for us, until the closing happens in CO.

Well - good night to all Corner Folk. :goodnight:

LW & Liz :):):):)

Orange peel actually might be ok, but I'm kinda *meh* on any mint, even peppermint which I more or less like -- at least, I like York patties, and they have real peppermint oil, so they're good for an upset tummy. But the only "flavored" tea I like is Constant Comment -- the orange, cinnamon, and hint of clove is fandamntastic with honey, so it's good to drink if you have a cold or sore throat. Otherwise, all I want is Twining's English Breakfast, though Irish Breakfast would be acceptable, and in a pinch I might even go for Earl Grey, but I can't drink a lot of that one.

But, since I have to go much lighter on caffeine than I used to, I mainly just drink Luzianne Decaf iced tea all day; I can drink that more or less like water! I try to limit myself to about a quart a day. :D

There's not many teas I've been opposed to. There is one I'm not a fan of the flavor of, and that's Chai, but I think it's mainly that it smells FANTASTIC, but tastes, meh.

Used to HATE (and I mean HATE) Tomatoes but lately I've been really liking them, I do wash the seeds/gross part out though, but after that it's quite nice. This is my week to cook with the kitchen hogging roommates gone, it's been nice.
When i was little I'd take tomatoes (roma) for my snack while other kids brought their little debbies. I love tomatoes, yum yum yum!!!!!:p:p

I have a specific hate for Roma tomatoes, not that the taste is bad, but because they've sprayed me in the eyes when my family has eaten them enough times that I hope a plague comes and wipes them off the face of the earth! Not quite as bad as cherry tomatoes but enough times to make me violently angry at them! damn those mindless bastards!

So, I just watched a movie that had me literally on the brink of tears, first time in 13 years, I could see the water welling in my eyes, god, it was beautiful but ugh, such a great movie, but now I want to beat the shit out of so many fictional characters. "Once were Warriors" ugh, just, ugh. Highly recommend it if you want to feel violent, sad, and angry. Gonna have to smack my uncle for telling me to watch it but I have to admit it was a great movie. just... ugh.
