The last ones I grew, before I discovered that my innards don't like tomatoes AT ALL, were called "Better Boy"... they have a huge variety of hybridized immunities, and their stems are strong and stout, don't have to do a lot of tying-up. I grew Celebrities a few years, because of their wide immunities, but their stems are too weak, my tomato patch ended up looking like a woman with messy rag-curlers.

I love 'em too, but my colon definitely does NOT. My extremely slow digestion means they give me such violently painful gas, it once sent me to the ER, thinking it was my appendix. Of course, now my appendix really is gone (and now I know what that really feels like, and it was MUCH!!! WORSE!), but still.... terrible pain; just not worth it.
And I could grow some seriously awesome tomato TREES! Those Better Boys grew almost 7 ft tall, I had to stand on a stool to get the tomatoes from the top!Andria
