Has anyone seen Bori around lately, I know she has been busy but it's been a while. I hope she's alright.

Wouldn't that be the punctuation nazi? ;)

Andria
Yup, but a single exclamation point would have failed to communicate the emphasis I was trying to portray. So breaking the rules is sometimes necessary. Mixed tenses is never acceptable though!!!! :cuss2: (I joke of course, I make enough mistakes to not care, but I had good teachers and their voices still ring in my head when I see mistakes:sadpanda:)

I picked up 30 Hanover tomato plants, I wanted to get them in the ground but think it's too cold today. I love big red thick skin tomato's.
I like the big thick ones too. I am growing the burpee Delicious and brandywine. The delicious can get the size of a softball and very thick meat in it. The brandywine is a very good one too:coffee:

I'm going to plant 6 Big Beef for the first time, see how they go.

The last ones I grew, before I discovered that my innards don't like tomatoes AT ALL, were called "Better Boy"... they have a huge variety of hybridized immunities, and their stems are strong and stout, don't have to do a lot of tying-up. I grew Celebrities a few years, because of their wide immunities, but their stems are too weak, my tomato patch ended up looking like a woman with messy rag-curlers. :D

That's too bad that you can't take tomatoes, I just love them, sandwiches, salads, pickled/sour, fried green, soup! ;)

I love 'em too, but my colon definitely does NOT. My extremely slow digestion means they give me such violently painful gas, it once sent me to the ER, thinking it was my appendix. Of course, now my appendix really is gone (and now I know what that really feels like, and it was MUCH!!! WORSE!), but still.... terrible pain; just not worth it. :( And I could grow some seriously awesome tomato TREES! Those Better Boys grew almost 7 ft tall, I had to stand on a stool to get the tomatoes from the top!
