OK is it a crush injury or were you looking at the burly 220v sockets and debating if a nickle could fit in it?
I knew a kidlet of a customer that showed me the aftermath of said nickle, pretty slagged and the kid still had scorched fingers.
Come to think about it the kid was kind of a miracle to not have done a smoldering bug in a zapper impression.
The story is they were in a diner/chain slop house, like dennys but called sherri's here, they have better food.
Kid went under the booth and saw the big ol industrial outlet and stuck a nickle in it to see it would fit.
Parents said the lights dimmed and there was a loud bang and flash under the table, the kid was sitting there with the half slagged nickle and fingers smoldering wondering what the hell just happened.

No, it was a cut/puncture wound. Someone has been hiding Exacto knife blades in the shelves at work. I found one the hard way the other night it went into my index finger all the way to the bone. We also found another and a syringe last night, but no one was injured that time.
Sounds like junkies, hope the blade was clean.
Hope security has the unoffical nod from local law enforcement and management to stomp the living bejesus out of anyone caught stashing needles like that.
I know we did when I did LP. A lady took a half filled syringe of herion and blood up to her first knuckle on an uncapped hidden in the picture frames.
Besides it was a mess and she was a mess when the smack hit her.
My worst enemy is myself. 98 % of the time i did it to me.

Do not put hands/fingers/body parts anywhere you cannot see period. I know a couple others that have gotten needle hits out in the open.
One was brushing a newspaper off a McDonalds table and got stuck.
Another was in the bathroom pushing down paper towels in the basket.
Yup. Even after a nap and some food im still frustrated.

Yeah, we had this happen before. A year or two ago there was a buch of syringes and needle found in Walmarts, mostly in apparel, but some in other places as well.

Only time I hurt is when I push my self to hard, & that's a daily occasion. I refuse this "getting old shit". Can't start a chain saw, lawn mower & crap like that, & that's fine with me. Work sux anyway.

Don't tempt me. One of the greatest joys of my life is when some asshole says I can't do something related to bikes. I go get beer with the trike on a regular basis. Gets unstable above 15 mph. It will do 45.
