Morning Whis and All. Stuck at home today with my car in the shop. Got some cleaning and stuff to do anyway. My Son and Dil are coming down next week with my new Granddaughter I haven't seen in person yet. Dw is stable and actually feeling pretty good in spite of her cancer. In general life is good.
I get several photos a week from my DIL. I've got something like 250 in an album lol. She sends me a new one every time she changes clothes I think. I just can't wait to hold her.Great update, You will not believe I bet, how fast that grand daughter will have grown when you see her too

Hi Family, there are things in everyday life that seam to mean nothing, but mean so much. I was shopping @ Kroger when I noticed an older lady that seemed to be staring at something on one of the top shelves. Me being the nosy old fart I am I watched her for a few moments more. I then walked up and asked if I could help her get something, or did she need some help. She looked at me as to ask for help but was not sure. I just can't reach those Artichoke hearts. Let me see if I can. She wanted two of them. She was grateful & it made me feel like a million bucks. Sometimes a little gesture can mean a lot.

If my previous post offended anyone, well... it would behoove the offended to read documented, factual US History from The Library of Congress.
Or, from any historic author that specializes in US History. If one wishes to get one accurate history, from the front lines - read the treatise from Harper's Bazaar, re-titled "North and South - The American Civil War."
It was actually written by reporters that were embedded with the Union Army, from 1860 - 1865, with some chapters dedicated to Reconstruction, and the capture of Jefferson Davis in Texas - wearing women's clothing...
History is something that shouldn't be repeated. Yet - I have something to share with you, and it's another song I wrote for Liz; she inspires me, and since the song is brand-new, it isn't one of the other love songs I've posted here - so, I'm not 'repeating history.'
I hope that all Corner Folk enjoy this tune. It's from the heart, except when a phone notification sound went off in the beginning of my guitar solo...

I just converted my SMY God 180 into a power supply for my bike light. Put a female coaxial connector where the 510 center pin used to be. Lol
Love it. I use a dual LED using a remote 4 cell 18650 pack as a light for my bicycle. They say 5000 lumen, That ain't to far from true. Lasts about 3-4 hours. EBay has them. About 25.00. Just got the 180. I love it.
I have 7 10 watt Cree XMLs in one light. I can X-Ray people. lol Connected a button to a switch on the grip, so I can change modes. Using the SMY Mod/pack I'm putting 12V into the driver.
The 180 gave up the ghost as a mod. Chip died. Didn't have the heart to toss it, so I re-purposed it.

On my bike I just have a 3 way toggle switch wired direct to the battery. I got low high and off.

Brother Man EBay has a nice folding bicycle for 144.00. Worth looking into. Don't have to let Truck Stops limit what you want to buy. Bought meat & other goods all the time on a bicycle. Brought them back to the truck.
only issue is all the legal shit for my plan. but it basicly boils down to if swift can use me i can use them.
gotta wait till i get my hands on a cooler for that. but i did just stock up on canned food.
i rember walking to the vape shop in alburqurque from the ta. good juice. actually bought a 30 ml from a vape shop over here. almost bought an rx2/300 but then i decided against it
We always broke out the grill as we parked in the back row. Never got hassled for it. You can eat well for a third of a truck stop meal if you want to. It adds up quick. Bike will pay for its self in two weeks. & there is the freedom of not having to walk.
by the time the walmart surge is over ill have enought to buy the cooler and a bike without even having to think about how it would effect me till payday. but untill then, i really only stop at truckstops for fuel and maby the ocasional snack or cold drink. ok, maby dinner sometimes if im goin by the flying hook (i actually rather enjoy their "deli")

A pawn shop is always good for a bicycle. 20.00. Be careful how you deal with the hand that feeds you. They have mega Lawyers, you don't.

well basicly, im going to use them to buy a truck once im eleigble. once its paid off if they dont do anything else to piss me off to much, i might buy another one throught them and hire a driver and use the first truck to pay the secound truck off and so on and so forth and run a mini fleet through swift. (im choosing this becuase i can actually get a truck) option b is still buy truck, pay it off but if they piss me off to much once its paid off, have truck will travel. they win, but i make it so i win too.
all the legal shit i have to do is inorder to buy a truck throught them i have to either form an llc or incorperate so im wadeing throught that shit now. i have like three difrent legalzoom tabs open. im debating on forming an s corp or just a basic llc. im leaning towrds llc due to me being the sole owner and employee for the forseeable future but id like to learn more about inc. but mostly becuase frog transportation inc has a nice ring to it.
