I went by Wallys and picked up a universal charger for my old laptop, it is working again, still going to get a new laptop, the charger was half the price Best Buy charged for the same thing.

Hi Whis and corner folk. My Son and his family got here a little after midnight this morning for a week. Finally got to meet my new Granddaughter in person. They say one picture is worth a thousand words? One hug is worth a thousand pictures. Hope everybody is having a bodacious Sunday

I was in school in Stamford the Winter of 69, 3+ feet of snow!

Hey Vapin . Nice lookin' computer that you're going to be getting. Just picked up a HP 17.3 laptop, 8gb, with a 1 TB HD for $399 today.....for my brother (who's on a TIGHT budget)....He's been using my Dad's old Dell laptop (made in 2007).

We had just about that much snow....just a few years ago. About 30" of snow @ my house in a day or so . Couldn't get outta my driveway for the next couple of days .

Not sure thats true, mine came with a down loadable disc for virus protection, you just have to buy the one that has enough memory that suits you , you can always expand that too

SSD is the coming tech, it's a little pricey now, but you can buy SSD up to 1 Terabyte.
