Hello to @Whiskey, @OneBadWolf, @Vapin4Joy and all other Corner Folk who have arrived on Spotty Server Day.
The error codes are quite lovely to look at; it's Christmas time, damnit, so those larger red borders around the error messages remind me of Santa.
I know we do the shopping for Christmas, but St. Nicholas gives us the impetus (and, hopefully, the debt consolidation loan) to do what we do for Christmas.
The Holidays used to bum me out, especially after divorcing my ex. The old memories of Christmas past would arrive within my prefrontal lobe, and bring me to tears.
Not this year. This is my first real Christmas with Liz - in a sumptuous new home, and our first colored LED lit tree. My son-in-law, his girl (with her son, who should be the poster child for ADHD - poor kid), and my Mom (in law, but she adopted me).
Here's a story that is really sad; a true conundrum, if you will:
Our neighbor - the Vietnam/Gulf War veteran - took in a young homeless couple, and the girl's older sister - who got kicked out of her home (DV stuff). I applaud anyone who helps the less-fortunate, as I've been there myself.
By the way, Liz celebrated her birthday 1 December.
Back to the story: these young kids don't deserve to freeze in Colorado, but... they abuse mind-altering substances, and enable our neighbor... well, gotta go - Liz finished her appointment.

Saddle, I'm sorry that some sorry lowlife scumbucket asshole shot your Princess. Prayers for a quick recovery and that the asshole get punished to the fullest extent of the law. Personally I think anyone who abuses an animal deserves to be put under the jail!!!!!!
