Living on the SE coast means....you never know what you will get weather-wise. Hurricane Matthew made autumn happen.
You are missing all the good fun with the snow ;-) . Glad all the bugs are gone with colder weather, especially the wasps, bumble bees ect... but most importantly is the poisons snakes are all curled up for the winter

Same here, we received half inch yesterday that was it. Last year we only got maybe 3 inches, sad.

Sad. I would not make living in a all warm climate. With occasional cool down.

Really never ends, I have a little less than 120 acres total, mostly woods, I look for dead, primarily leaning trees, my dogs spend so much time running the woods.
I was born and raised in a cold place, but I do like it here. Sometimes, even in the summer, it is hard to dress. I-95 is about 10 miles from the beaches, but there can be as much as a 10 degree cool-down as you drive east.
You up where the air is thin and cold, I like this time of year the views change because the leaves have dropped, the air is clean and crisp. The river flows cold and I can really feel it, usually gets high especially when it snows up in the mountains to my West.
Had to "GOOGLE" nature....Ahhh yeah I remember that.
O' I know that. My Guy does the same, plus cut from other people who don't want the wood, that is best way teehee, that works out well.
