Evening everyone ! Wanted to keep my dot mod protected and readily at hand without putting it in my pocket. Found a good use for an old Nokia phone case. Clips on my belt, elastic on the side so it expands and don't fire the buttons even if its on (buttons on the side) and I don't have to carry the mod or have it in my pocket.

Good evening corner.:coffee: Sorry about this morning, but I didn't get home until after 8:30 this morning, and went straight to bed. I had a few things I needed to buy after I got off, and then the car wouldn't start. I had to call and get the car jumped off. I guess I'll be looking at buying a battery when I get paid next week. The battery is around 4 years old, so I guess I can't complain, but that's $100 I really needed for other things.:gaah:

Good evening everyone. I got to relax for about a half hour and my neighbor call and she had a flat tire on the interstate. I loaded up my 3 ton floor jack and 4 bar wheel wrench. She was 21 miles away. I got that changed and came back home and the other neighbor started to mow his yard and the deck belt broke on his mower. He was going to go visit family tomorrow so I mowed his yard for them. His yard is bigger than mine. It took a little over 4 hours to mow there yard 4.5 acres. I am done for the day.

I have to agree with you. They do run alot of things in the cars and trucks anymore.
Yep. As soon as you stick your key in the ignition the steering wheel and seats move to your preset position. On models a few years younger than ours., even the pedals move to the position you set in memory.

Yes, it was, but you'd be surprised how many folks don't do the "right" thing nowadays, and a 21-mile trip to help her was above and beyond in my book! You are a real gem, and I'm proud to have you as my friend!
Her husband is a tour bus driver and he is in New York. I know what you mean, that's the way I was raised. Again thank you, it means alot.

That's what most people don't realize. There is alot of pull on the battery before it is even started.
Yes, there is. The auto headlights will stay lit for 2-3 minutes after you get out of the car if they were on if you don't remember to force them off, as well the interior lights. I guess rolling the windows down and up a few times for my breaks at work, last night just pulled the battery down more than I thought it would.
