Hot and very humid here, I just finished lashing every loose item down, we are getting a big storm around 5:00 tonight. River warnings are already out, it's supposed to rise 10-12ft, the storm is coming from the mountains west of me the Blue Ridge, I'm right in the path, should be interesting tonight, going to last from 5-12 PM.

We had some strong storms here last night just after we went to bed, loud thunder and HEAVY rain with flood warnings, it was pretty wild, but nothing like it sounds like what you are in for.

Hey Whiskey, I meant to tell you, Vicks Vapor Rub will keep the bears and critters away, it's also good for head aches, rub a little on your temples, ear aches and dry skin and calluses.

We're experiencing some pretty stormy weather now/ Satellite keeps going out, and it's a torrential downpour out there right now.

Got home from work just in time to avoid the torrential downpour..lol..I didn't want to ride the Harley in a storm. As it is, I almost got hit by a falling tree on the way home..odd, but it happens. I was riding on Saxon Ave in Bayshore when the tree (about a 60 footer) fell right in front of me. It took out the power lines and just missed me. I made a little sign of the cross and laughed a bit. Just one of those reminders...something unexpected can always be expected..haha
