Good morning WSF.
Supposed to be sunny and high 79s here today.Good morning, White....waking up to more storms here
Feeling pretty rough this morning.
Gonna be another day in the 90's here with high humidity to boot. Also, a chance for later afternoon/evening thunder showers as is pretty much the norm for this time of year.
Really haven't been sleeping or eating very well since all this occurred.I can imagine

Just wanted to let my "online family of friends" here know, that I probably won't be on here as much as usual, for the next days or so. My BIL, Nick, has passed away from cancer last night 
. He fought it with all he had, for the past year and a half or so. This past month or so has been the hardest......For him, and the family. He was a great BIL and also a good friend. He was always there when you needed him, and put his family and friends ahead of everything else! We will miss him a lot!......He was 65 y.o.

I hate to say this, but it needs to be said. You need to lawyer up. Since she left her wedding rings, sounds like she already may have a lawyer, has filed for divorce and custody. You need to find out if she has done this.
If you want custody of your son you need to do the same thing.
My brother went through a similar situation, but much worse, he lost everything! Didn't see his son for months and went through hell to see him, his son was only two or three months old. He lost a lot of precious time not seeing his son. It was HELL for ten years.
You need to cover your own ass right now. You don't want to go into court not knowing anything and not be prepared. The only way to find out stuff is to have an attorney. If she isn't communicating now, more than likely she is not going to. I hope I am really wrong on this, but you need to be prepared for anything.

I'm not really worried about the boy. He is 27 yrs. old and autistic so he was in our care. He worked and was self sufficient, he just needs some supervision.
As far as her, my take is she is just really pissed right now and she wanted to make a BIG point. Mission accomplished. If she wanted everything she would have just cleaned out the house and bank accts. but she didn't.
I really appreciate all the concern from my friends on here. You guys are the best.

Going good,WW... was solo again yesterday and over night, DH went back out to see MIL while I watched the house and dogs....they moved her into a rehab facility yesterday and she is up and walking back and forth with a walker, so that is good news
