Going to go out and finish mowing this afternoon, got a little over half done yesterday and ran out of gas (Me, not the mower). LOL
What are you planting? We have tomatoes, okra, cucumbers and peppers started here.

Lawnmowing  that is how much I like doing it. But I put on some tunes and drive so not so bad. It's the bunny holes I hate.

Some lettuce, tomato, watermelon, peppers, hot peppers, and beets.
Need to get some flowers.

I love seeing the bunnies just don't like the holes. Just saw a tiny one in the yard yesterday afternoon. Couldn't be more than a couple weeks old. So cute. View attachment 80399
They sure are cute. They love to tease my doggies. The next door neighbors bird dog loves to chase them. Try to keep him out, but 3 acres is kinda hard to do. Trying to keep the rabbits population up just incase we need quick food, if things or when things take a turn for the worst.

O' yea forgot about those cats. Our other neighbor has a bunch of cats. He wants them to keep the field mice and rats out of his barn, I understand that, but they don't stay down there. My brothers dog chases the cats and semi kills them. Then I have to go shoot them died, at least it has only happened 3 times, that I know of, in the 10 years, I'm thankful for that.

Plus, I have to watch our two cats. They are inside kitties only but they go nuts when they see another cat prowling around the yard.

Yup. Katana, our black cat, well she passed away last year, she would go nuts too looking out the window seeing the cats. It would also drive her bonkers watching the hummingbirds fly around, I feed the hummers , but it was funny watching her go bonkers.

They growl and hiss and once they realize they aren't gonna get at it, they'll start beating each other up and we have to interecede.
Lol. Betcha that is quite the show. Definitely don't want them fighting amongst themselves. Water does a good job at stopping the fighting.

Had a orange colored cat, he was quite the character. He acted more like a dog at times, he would chase me around the home then I would chase him, he was a fun cat. He would climb up my leg onto my back and sit there. He would only do it when I had pants on, he wouldn't do it if I had shorts or sweats on, just glad he knew the difference. He passed away at an early age. He was watching the hummingbirds, jumped and hit his head on the door handle, it shocked me when I went over to check on him, he was gone. So watch out they don't bonk their heads, it don't take much of a hit to their heads to kill them.

Cats were sent here by aliens to spy on us. People should not feed them. :grumpy:

Here I thought they were big furry rodents to kill small furry rodents. Glad you straightened me out. Lol.

The Australians are a very civilized people. They have bounty s on feral cats. Unlike other animals, the cats kill just for the sake of killing, and have threatened several indigenous species with extinction there.

I think it was about $10 a tail when I was there. Was told by an Abo, they make great presents for the dingos, which the Abos consider a sacred animal.

My puppy was born on a farm, and my friend told me that every day, the cat would come into the house, soaked in dog slobber, because my puppy, and her Mom would play with the cat. Kittums would spend most of the day licking itself clean, then Game On!

Yea, I read about that a few years ago. They do need to kill the cats there. My brothers dog needed to get those cats 'cause they are doing it like rabbits and our neighbor is getting way too many cats.
