I did my own spice blend. Some of the spices in mass produced curries have to much salt and cardamon.

I had a acorn squash soup that had a creamy base. Used ginger, allspice, nutmeg, clove, turmeric and a few others.

Do yourself a favor and get either one of these brands paste, it's all I use when I make it at home.

Nice! Next season the wife and I plan on growing our own peppers in the garden. We just did a farm share this year since we just moved into a new house and didn't have time to make a garden(we spent 4 months redoing it).

I love the pretty color of the peppers. Store bought. No one is here to share with so I make everything like I like it. I don't grow peppers. :cool:

Have you tried the mini sweet peppers, I buy them by the bagful, great to dice up in any dish and salads...yummmmmmm

Morning allo_O. Back to work.....still busy.....and still plenty of issues going on. Here's just a few. My wife's B-day was this past Tuesday (NOT a happy one due to her Mom's passing last week). I gave her her B-day gift early, on Sunday night.....(A new smart-phone.......her first). 3 1/2 days later....she DESTROYED it :mad:. She had it in her coat.....coat was on the seat of her Dad's truck......coat was sticking out of door........and she SLAMMED the door......:rolleyes:. Now, she gets to go back to her old "slide out keyboard" phone, until her new replacement phone gets here;). Yesterday.....she calls me @ work. She LOST her keys (car and house).... :mad::mad:. We've looked throughout the house and car and STILL cannot find them. This weekend has just started and it's NOT looking like it's gonna be a good one. Oh yeah......Her Mom's memorial service is today too.
