Wow ..is all I can say , thank you Liz for being so vulnerable and sharing ...you have been through so much. Sounds like you are a survivor. ...a survivor of life...I can relate but only in overcoming not in the particular things you have been through. My heart hurts for the loss of your precious daughter....fuck cancer....you and love works are pretty awesome peeps and I love reading all your posts...everyone here on the corner are pretty bad ass...we all have some scars, we have all been through or are going through things but still make time to check in a give some vape love....I love this place ....yeah...I think we are all kinda bad ass....Liz just told me to write this:

The pictures of you with the redneck teeth, and of your beautiful boy on Halloween - priceless. I nearly died in 2014 due to complications from the H1N1 virus; yet, God kept me here so that I could be with my 32-year-old daughter when she died from cancer. God also kept me here for LW, who is also disabled. He had to wait from December 19, 2013, when I went home to Colorado for the Holidays, until I came home to him on April 14, 2014. I was 86 pounds. LW took care of the dogs and our home while I was gone. He then took care of me, when I got home. He got me back up to 120 pounds. He does most of the posting in here for me, and always signs out as LW & Liz.
I have nerve damage from my H1N1 fight, so it's hard to use the computer, and even more so with a smartphone (he bought me a bigger one, to make things easier). Still, he loves me like I've never been before.
Seeing you with your boy brought a tear to my eye, as I miss my daughter so. I have a son, 31, who loves his mom - but, he's independent (and, I love him dearly). That's all I can say. Love, Liz"

I can't like this. Use what you know, & cherish what you have. I use a cane to get to my Motorcycle. Only reason I can ride it is because it's low enough to the ground I can sit & hold it upright. Life changes, we except it, or leave it. (and I like those young ladies bringing my order to my bike so I don't slip & fall. Use what you have, You earned it.
