Nice. Just made myself a magnetic stirrer out of a hard drive magnet
and a six inch box fan out of a big old IBM mainframe.
Have it powered by a variable voltage ham power supply I grabbed off my radio shelf.
Works good.

BTW, I just noticed your "heating plate"...gives me ideas.
I heat things up in Baine Marie to about 108F in the crock pot
then move the erlenmeyer flask over to the stirrer.

When it's all done I put it in one of those reversible coolers on heat
for...until I remember to take it out. The rest is a proprietary secret ;-)

So far, it's a winner. It does have this one thing about it that I hope isn't always there, but it keeps asking me if "new coil or same coil". I'm not using TC. I push the button, it goes away. It kind of goes to sleep after 5 minutes. I'm using more than one mod is the only reason it has a chance to sleep. I do like it.

Just in case, a lot of people like it with 2% Vienna Cream. HIC posted that one a while back. I've played around with the flavor, but the Rasta always took over, no matter how low I used it. It WANTS to be root beer, dammit.
