Im looking into replacing my blow speaker...... fuck. Think about the 2 mods you want most. Now think of their price tags. With a rda and rta each. And add some more. Fuck. Only thing i dont like about my mustang. I honestly love everything about it but i would rsther have built my own sound system. Damn you mach 460.

Great that most speaker upgrades/replacements come with installation instructions and wiring adaptors.
Its not that simple. Becuase i have the mach 460, in order to upgrade the speakers i have to replace EVERYTHING. The car comes factory with amps for the door and panle speakers. But they sre 6 ohm speakers to work with the factory amps. The tweeters i could replace becuase there un amped, but the other stuff id have to rip out the factory amps and wireing harness, and out in 2 2 channles or a single 4 chanle amp and replace all the speakers with componant speakers. Im on crutch field right now looking at some kicker componant speakers. If i nuy speakers im buying kicker. My sub is insane. Kicker cvr 102 powered by 300 watts courtesy of a kenwood amp. All controlled by a kenwood head unit. But i kept the stock 460 gear becuase of how much of a monwy pit and a royal pain in the cock hole it is to upgrade it.

Yeah...... if i commit to doing this, im looking st 400$ in speakers alone. Add in another 200$ - 400- for an a,p. And a whole fuck ton of wireing. Probably 200ft of speaker wire. Becuase the easiest way is to just do a 4 chanle, and re run the speaker wire. So compleatly taking out the interior, and door pannels, and runming the wire throught the doors wireing harness. Fuck. I can do it, but i know to do it id charge abiut 700$. I can do it. But its the money for parts, and then actualy doing it. It would be a full 4 day install at best. One day to rip out the old gear, another to install the new gear, another day to wire it all up, and the last day to trouble shoot. So 4 8 hour days of just installing it all. But in the end, id have a system that was bad fucking ass. And worth more then the pony is....
Wow. Im looking at 1200 just for the speakers and the cheapest amp that would perform well with the speakera id like to get. Add in about 200 for misc install shit, and id be at 1400. Just to fix a blown speaker...... my cars worth 2k if i found a compleat idiot.
Well, guesse im living with a blown speaker for a while.
Ugh I caved in, just ordered a Reuleaux 200, 4 25r's and a efest 6 bay charger..

I got it mostly because I wanted a 3 battery mod, I already have a Snow Wolf 200w and a Smok X Cube II(180w) but they can barely make it 3/4's of a day.

Im getting it becuase it feels good in my hands, i like the 3rd battery extending the life like crazy and i want a 200w mod.
I dont have anything that goes over 40w. So this should be a njce upgrade. Im fully expecting to make this the mod ill use for a good long while. Ill probably aquire more tanks, rtas, rdas and what not but i doubt ill even think of upgrading my box for a while. Not unless i get a computer. Then i might consider getting the dna version of the same one, but i dont see me getting a comouter anytime soon.

Vtec can still suck a dick, no matter how you want to spell it. Anyone thst knows what their doing with a honda motor tunes vtec out. Dont get me wrong i respect thst if you dont touch a honda ,otor thst they will run forever, but they have no power. The cars sre cheap as hell, and feel that way, and they can barely move under their own power. And to put it to you straight up, i drive a v6 new edge. Its slow as fuck. Ill run a 14 quater. High 14s.... and i still devour "modified" civics. The only honda with 4 wheels i can respect is my lawn mower. And thats only becuase it actualy cuts my grass and starts on the first try just about every time.

And by the way they don't tune it out, typically they run something along the lines of Hondata, Neptune or Kpro which lowers the crossover. I'm glad your edge beats "modified" Hondas, however I don't consider a can, intake and a wing "modified". I consider slapping a 6cyl Honda motor in a CRX modifying a Honda.
Nonetheless I'm glad you don't like Hondas, glad you're one of those high and mighty muscle car guys. I don't care what kind of car anyone drives, if they have a passion for cars I respect them and what they drive.
You're exactly what's wrong with the car scene these days, you run your mouth and discourage other people. Make them feel that something they invest in is a POS and will always be a POS...

Im not agenst modifing. Want to throw a ls in your civic? Do it. Thats bad ass. Want to throw a cia and a muffler on your moms hand me down 4 door and call it fast? Your a moron. I also like subies. And mazda rx7s. Thoes wankle motors absolutly fasonate me. Not a fan of the rx8 tho. Just odd looking, and to many triangles.
I just cant stand hondas. Toyotas, i just dont like. I dont findthem comfy ornhaving any power. And im aware of hondata. Ive used it to tune before. Its a nice user freindly program and ill give it that. But you cant polish a turd. As much as id lile to make the dog turd in my living room smell nice, i cant. Its a turd. Smells like shit. Omly way to get rid of the smell is to clean it up and fabreeze the shitnoutnofnthe room. Would i own a honda? Only an eg hatch. Why? They look alright, have decent cargo room and decent mpg. Would i call it fast? Fuck no. And whag the fuck does slapping a vy in a crx prove? Its still trying to hook up power to the wrong wheels. Whwn a car launches, it shifts its wieght to the rear causeing the rear to squat. In turn thst takes wieght off the front wheels, in turn takeing traction away. Where as with rwd, your adding traction do to the increased wieght on the rear wheels. More traction= faster. Can i respect a 10 secound car no matter what body it is? Yes. But i think we can all agree thst by the time a civic is in the 10s is in the 10s the only thing thst says honda on it is the body. But thst holds true of any car.

Not a huge fan of the newer vettes, but the classic one are pure awesome.
cAnt drive a 4 spd. I tried driving my friend old nova with a 4spd in it, and i almost blew the trans trying to go into reverse looking for 5th lol
On thst note, i find it hard to drive a 6 spd as well. I just dont realize their is a 6th gear to utilize. Im to conditioned to t spds i guese lol
