I'm hoping I won't have to "re-up" on supplies for at least two months.

It's like anything else. Run out, go get more. I use about 1/2 a gallon of juice a year. 16.95 for VG Maybe 8.00 for NIC. Flavor 20.00. A carton of Stinkys cost how much? :p

mixing by weight..was thinking that still sounded difficult, but then,...hey, I think I could figure that out by first measuring and weighing..thank you for that advice!
not having much luck with my own DIY endeavor

Pour with the vessel on the scale till it gets close. Use a syringe to add till the weight is right. Simple.

My diy attempts sucked until I started going by weight. So much easier. Just drop till desired weight is achieved then zero scale and repeat. I'm going to pimp the liquix app again cause I love that app. Even tells me how much it just cost me to make the bottle of juice I just made... Lol

I gotta say, I'm not a perfectionist with the grams. My goal is consistency, and that I get. Tastes the same from mix to mix. Mixing with syringes was fine, til I got a scale and had maybe one syringe to clean out at the end. Just so quick and easy. I let it intimidate me, but it's really very simple.

@iSubOhm, check out these vendors. (pretty much in this order, too, except the last one - I love their nic)
http://www.bullcityvapor.com/ (flavors, supplies, PG and VG)
http://mamajsflavorshop.com/ (flavors - they're in the process of moving across the country, may not be available right now)
http://www.ecigexpress.com/ (flavors, supplies, PG and VG, nic)
http://www.vaperstek.org/ (nic, PG and VG and a nice selection of Inawera flavors)
Also
https://wholesale.heartlandvapes.com/ (pg vg nic)
https://shop.perfumersapprentice.com/c-108-the-flavor-apprentice-world-of-flavors.aspx. (flavor)

Like Huck said, don't let it intimidate you. If you can make cheesymac then you can diy

I have a flavor closet. I by bottles of premium juice then sit down and try to remake the profile. I have gotten really good at that. I have a lot of really good clone juices.

I'm playing with the Liquix calculator to get used to it. And it's accounting for H2O. I'm assuming that's because you can only get a 99.9% base? So I can't input 80/20 VG. I should put 70/20 because it account 10 for H2O because the base is 99.9.

If you bought flavors that sound appealing to you and that you think you'll vape, then no. Dude, overboard is me and my 2 1/4 boxes of flavors. I use a lot of them, though, LOL. Based on the flavors you listed earlier, I think you'll be VERY pleased with the results. If you decide DIY is for you, then you have the option to expand. Good start, definitely.
I read a few of HIC's recipes that sounded extra delicious to me and got the flavors from there. After trying these out I'll start expirementing.

Good decision. I did that early in, followed recipes. I learned a lot about flavors that way. You'll be surprised how little you'll use. FA is very concentrated, so it won't take much at all. Less is more. More just kinda messes things up if you go overboard. You'll likely be buying more PG and VG before you do flavors. For a while!

I have Green Ice for a wake up vape, then go to what ever I feel like. I keep 6 or so flavors on hand. Beats the shit out of cigarette smoke. :)
I have 5 flavors in a daily rotation. 2 flavors that I vape if I'm turning wrenches. And always fresh juice steeping. I can't get my wife to mix hers herself so seems like I'm always mixing lol

And if you like creams and custards come up with a good base recipe first then you can add your fruits or other flavors from there

I like creams and custards. One of my favorites is mustache milk by charlies chalk dust and luciano from shakedown

I am also a fan of fruits. At some point I will either find or make a good mix of the 2

When my wife and I smoked we each went through a carton a week. $60 a carton $120 a week total. Now mixing my own juice for both wife and I cost is about $50 a month.

So I went to FA and put 18 flavors in my cart.. With shipping (and no tracking btw) it comes to $65.31... Then to top it off my Nic, PG & VG will be an additional $39.50.... That comes to $104.81 and the flavors won't even be here for about 20 days which means I have to order a few more bottles until all my DIY stuff gets here.. Oh and that's also not including the cost of the bottles and syringes etc. I'll need to mix all of this.. Seems like a hefty investment to be doing this.
But I'm sure it'll pay off nicely. :)
Good luck mixing and measuring and tasting!

Yeah this is my first time starting out on DIY. I tried to look up a few recipes that all have the same flavors, but a few use one or two that are different. Here's what I have: Vienna Cream, Chocolate, Strawberry, Marshmallow, Fresh Cream, Cocoa, Caramel, Meringue, Cappuccino, Torrone, Espresso, Vanilla Classic, Vanilla Bourbon, Custard, Cookie, Hazelnut. I think that's all.. Are there some I can get rid of and some to keep that can still make a good amount of varieties? I'm sure you can tell what kind of flavors I like lol

I may as well just get them all and make the investment.. I'm sure I'll be good on juice for a few months with all this..
Wow that'll be some crazy weird desserty tasting juice when you're done! Lol.
