Alright peeps,,, little input, cuz I trust you guys not to steer me wrong. I wanna learn how to build. I want a dripper with a decent sized base cuz my eyes aren't what they used to be and neither are my hands. And o don't want to spend a bunch of money to find out I hate it. I'm thinking I'll get a better idea of how my juices are coming along with a dripper as opposed to the little bridge less attys I've been using.

I've been lookin around on eBay,, a clone is fine, like I said I don't want to invest a bunch of money right now. This is just a trial. But I'm not quite sure what to look for. Someone recommended a Steamboat? tugboat? Something like that. What do you guys think??

I didn't. Yet. Frankly, I'm highly intimidated by it all. Do you think it's ok to get one from eBay? Or are they just as cheap from a reputable vendor? Not that eBay isn't reputable, but you know what I mean.

I've never bought vape stuff from the bay

Thank you Hank,,, I watched the video and it looks like just what I'm looking for. What gauge wire should I start with? I was thinking 26? Kanthal?

Kanthal is fine. I use 316L SS. 26g will do the trick

If the $25 one you mentioned is the one you can build ON, then I hear really good things about those, but my cheap-o one works fine. Ohms out at basically the same things my mods say.

I have looked at cool coil winding tools, and think how easy that would be to fabricate (build/turn on a lathe)..
But then on the same token, how easy it would be just to wrap around a small screwdriver and clip with diagonal cutters..
You mean not every box has a built in Ohm reader like the Kangertech?
when I get into building my own coils, I will turn out several tools, and give them away

Is it ok to check the ohms on my cuboid? Or Vaporesso?

This is a great question, and I always figured when I get to the point of building a coil I could just check it on the K-box..?
I have a multi meter and have had one for years..just figured...

Vapor Range has a 28.5 dripper for 3 bucks. A 45W Mods are so cheap. Wire is an art. Have to learn it. I'm still trying. Not picture worthy, my coils always work.

Well I was engaged.. Had an apartment with my fiancé.. But I came to realize that I wasn't really being treated like someone should treat the person they're going to marry. Felt unnappreciated, etc.. So I ended up moving back with the folks.. She had nowhere to go.. So she stayed there.. And I'm still stuck paying for it for the moment.. Long story short...

I'm the illegitimate love-child of strategy and creativity. Now neither parent admits to having me.
That SUCKS!.....but at least ya got out, before you made the wrong decision.

Hangin in there, we all are trying to come to terms with everything , so emotions are high here
Very understandable. It's great that you were able to face your fear of flying, and get out there and spend some time with your bro! I'm sure that he appreciates it, and I'm sure that you are happy that you did get out there too. Need anything!?......Just let me know.
