Saw that, too bad some one wouldn't wake up and make it so it takes replaceable coils

Im trying to build for my mech. But the resistance keeps jumping from .2-.7 and wont stay stable. Id put this on a %egulated no prob but im nit risking it on a mech

You got a loose leg on your coil somewhere. Start with a simple wrap or twist. Aim for .5 or so to start

Do you have a fire suppressreasuce?
Not gunna be needed.

Im just going simple with this build. And ive been doing reasearch and what not. With the battery im gunna use lowest i can go with out any risk is .2. Im shooting for .35. I refuse to go lower then a .3 flst tho for my first mech build.

You have a decent ohm meter?

@Boattlebot if your trying not to go boom then stop playing with fire. Especially if your using a regulated to build in. Aim for .5 that way if its lower than that and you take a deep hit you will still have your face to exhale from. Get an ohm meter next time you are at the shop. Don't play with the thing, it will bite you.

Got my build done. Ohms out at .3 and stays steady.

Just basic. Nothing fancy.

Im not gunna explode.
Exploding may be an exaggeration. But if you are going down this road having the proper tools is a must. Any thing could go wrong and as the saying goes safety first and foremost. These meters exist for a reason. I build I own mechs and reg devices and ALWAYS use an OHM meter.

Doesn't matter in that build. On a fresh battery he is only putting about 4 volts with sag on build that takes at least 6 volts to ramp up.

Making sure its not a trustfire or a torn wrapper, 0.3 ohms is fine on most anyway

I normally would do 24(5wrap) or 22g(6wrap) and build around a 0.18-0.2 ohm with a vtc5.
Or 12-14wraps around a 0.5 on a series box.
That's also after knowing my gear and making sure everything was the way it should be.
That is on the cusp of tard ohm.
