That's understandable now..however I use those bands only on the top of my TFV4's to keep the metal fill cap from moving.. I never slide it down on the glass tank itself..if that is what you do..
I do slide it down, the top on my stainless tank is solid and never moves. The one on my black one tho has to have the band up top because it's all loosey goosey. I'm wondering if it's just getting to hot and cracking.....That's understandable now..however I use those bands only on the top of my TFV4's to keep the metal fill cap from moving.. But some people need a Speaking To. And since some of them don't appear to be able to converse in a Civilized Manner, I guess I'll have to stoop to their level in a probably vain effort to Get The Point Across.
That's odd..I mean I chain vape my TFV4's at 80w..they do get very warm but the glass has never cracked.. But my bands are at the top keeping the top cap from accidentally opening..oh well..

BTW, those bands were designed to keep that top cap closed... I don't know anybody, including the boys at my local shop, that slides them down.. When I think about it my juice gets warm in the tank and probly heats that thin glass uniformly, and a band could prevent that..plus puts pressure on it, causing cracking as it cools..my glass has not cracked, but like I said earlier, I don't slide down that vape band either..
