So, my Lil dog hates the snow. It snowed a bit last night but as usual I let both dogs out this morning. The Lil one wanted in right away but I waited a Lil more then let her in. We'll I look over at my son later and he is playing with a Lil toy basket he has but he has brown stuff on his hand...sure as shit my Lil dog POOPED IN the toy basket!!!!!!!! Really ?

Can happen with dogs and children, how to stop it? Well marking is not a need to go the bathroom but an act of dominance and has to be handled different. no rewards involved with this type of behavior, catching them in the direct act has to be treated like house breaking.....out the door immediately NO reward.a gentle scold but not a strong one.

Yes, I totally agree and that's how I handle it. It's never happened in my son's toys. She is small and just didn't go when she should have because of the snow.. .. going to bath her, cut her hair and put a sweater on her...lol

I had a strange feeling it was a wino's pile she ran through just from the sheer size and she tracked it all over the house. It was god awful, I got her to slow down and in the 4 year old's worldly wisdom went palms down on a smear and brought both hands up to her nose. Which resulted in her power vomiting all over herself and the now shitty floor.

I grabbed dish gloves and picked her up and took her outside for a power spraying before a hot bath to get clean.
