When I first started vaping my non smoking husband had a problem with it. Every time he seen me take a drag/hit he would cough. Really? I started giving him lectures related to education about vaping. A side benefit is he has not had a serious respiratory issue since 2010. I did get a air purifier at first. Now he doesn't care at all unless the humidity is above 60% and he can see the vapor in front of his face. He is on board after 5 years.

Converted sister in law. I think she is on her 3 year land mark with no cheating and zero nic. I'm still trying to convert my brother. He is a hard one. He chews (I think that is what it's called) tobacco. I'm on my second attempt at conversion. He just emailed me and he has the liquids I made for hm. This batch is 30mg/ml because it is apparent that chewing tobacco has a kick of nic. I tried the 24mg/ml with no prevail. When I first started I had to go with 36/42mg/ml custom blends. I'm at 8mg/ml right now. I'm a hard one to titrate down.

Interesting. Yes I too was a chewer. I chewed tobacco never really smoked cigs, except when I was at work on busy nights it just wasn't feasible to get the nicotine I needed in my 10 minute break, so I'd bum one off a co worker, everyone had em lol. I started on 12 with a clearomizer and that obviously wasn't working, bough a big boy mod a mech mod and dripper and although it was tough transitioning I made it with just 6mg, best luck to your brother. I still want a can every other week but the desire fades and is less and less with the growing weeks.

I'm at a point where you could not pay me to smoke a cig. I find the smell of them burning repulsive.

Every time I quit before I would smell one and it had a sweet smell that made me want one. No longer!

Much, thank you! Apparently passing out at my desk at work yesterday, and my boss who sits right next to me letting me sleep for 4 hours while on the clock was the ticket.

I'm still a bit sore, but that may be from the deep tissue massage that works the knots out, not the spasm. Really deep massage typically has about a 3-4 day recovery period of it's own.

How is the pup's recovery going?

Goin good, I think she should be using the knee more, her follow up is the 27th, I'll see if she's healing at the normal pace.

She is, just going a bit slower than I'd like to see, Knee's can be funky, especially the type of thing she had done, tubular something or other, they patch the cruchiate (sp?) tendon to the the side and connect with a metal screw. We've had 3 of these done on our dogs , she has not been back to normal as fast as the other 2 dogs, wondering if they may have to redo it.

Tibial Tubercle Osteotomy? Same size dogs? Larger dogs take longer to heal from this due to the extra weight and stress on the joint.

What type of PT are you doing? aquatic treadmill works wonders for this! I used to have bull mastiffs and went through this a couple times.

I feel really bad. I emailed my SIL and asked her how Hailey (a weiner dog) is. The dog died a month ago and I sent my SIL in a crying with no escape mode. I knew she was doing peritoneal dialysis on the dog. However, some people like my sis do not share their grief. I suppose I should have called my brother instead. Do they sell cards (sympathy) for animal deaths/illnesses?
That's hard indeed, but we don't get into the cards and stuff, I do however have them cremated. I want them buried with me.

Dog bites Post Man. Govt says kill the dog or else. 45 years ago. Hurts even to this day. (Post employees pissed him off) Great Dog, bad ending. He was 4 at the time.

My postman won't approach the house if I have the dog in the front yard.

My boy does not bark or growl, he wags his tail a bunch though. However he is very high energy and does run to the end of his tether and gets spun around by the neck. This intimidates the postman.

This is so cool. I have an electric bike for exercise. My dog hears me from at least a quarter mile away. Specific sound that bike makes that tells her it's Me. I don't think smell could travel that far. It might. It's cool anyway.

To the human nose, no. Unless is is a smoker going and the wind is blowing. A dog can pick up a scent from over that distance though.

I can smell things from a distance I never could when I smoked. Like I have Wolf nose. Sitting at a stop light I can smell a woman's perfume in a car. I just smile. Ride a bike. Well Harley, exhaust, is well behind me. Freaks me out in a good way.

Has anyone been experiencing power outages over the last few days? Cell phone service outages? WiFi outages? If yes to any, where are you located, and is this normal?

Thanks guys :)

Been a lot of storms and all that goes with it lately, but no power loss, which surprised me. Our internet was really, really slow last night, cable acting up, too. All is well today, though. Sometimes the power goes out on a beautiful day. It's never made sense to me.
