. My Dad is doing AWESOME!, and his re-hab progress for getting him back on his feet, after his heart surgery, has been excellent. The hospital has scheduled a "family meeting" for this coming Wednesday. Based on what I have seen, my Dad MAY be discharged to go home by the weekend (Hope so!)......We shall see. Have a GREAT Labor Day, everyone!

I just did a bunch of planting at the new place, been having to go out almost daily to soak them with the hose, plus the grass seed.

The BBQ pit's are clean & tucked back in the shed, & nary a bone the Dogs are well fed. The cans are all bagged & in someone's truck, They bagged them up, so I could care less, but I watching my neighbor, it's true I confess, I'm laughin' my ass off, He's wearing a dress.

in 'Querque years ago. The keyboard player's equipment was robbed right from the stage!
Lesson #1 (when playing club gigs): pack and load your gear when the band does it, even if it's right after the gig that night;

Any of yall ever do something the day before you work all night, instead of sleeping or resting, and then having it kick you in the ass all night? lol! That's what I'm suffering tonight... Took my daughter to a local Theme park's last day of it's Water Park portion of the theme park... and came home to eat, shower, and go to work... I'd just assume crawl under a rock now... but it was nice to see my daughter having a blast!

Liz just made us some Eight O'Clock Columbian Peaks coffee. When we drink coffee, the closest we get to Starbuck's may be Seattle's Best #5 Intense Dark blend. The Eight O'Clock coffee we're enjoying this AM was the pre-ground version (currently on sale for $4.99 a bag at Food Lion).
Otherwise, we prefer to grind our own. Liz laid back down for a catnap; soon, we'll be off to the Post Office. Time to get our Mods!
Then, I'm going to color Liz's hair, and get ready for the funeral we're going to. No, I'm not a hairdresser or barber - being in the music business, I learned how to color, style, and generally alter my former curly locks; then, due to cancer in '94-'96, I adopted the hairstyle favored by Bruce Willis and Joe Satriani - years before they did. It has remained since.
In some circles, my hairstyle is called a "dick with ears" (rofl).

Good morning folks!!! Having coffee and dreading to call and start the process of going back to school. My hospital is wanting all RNS to get their bachelor degree. I'm not looking forward to it at all! Now with a kid I'm not sure how this will work but it must be done :/ on a lighter note I'm hoping my cool fire gets here today...mama wants to play

Oh no!!! They will run blood tests to see if it's a heart attack. Gallbladder is on your right upper abdomin. Hopefully it is just heart burn ! Keep us posted !!!!!
