I think we all make the mistake of sitting down slowly too. Probably easier if you just sat really fast.

I don't groom mine, she is way too big and is short haired, my wife will give her a bath though.
I dont grroom mkne eaither. Altho she needs a bath bad.

Mine is a 90lb white old english bulldog female
I almost picked up a Cane Corso from the pound.. I did not have room enough, that boy was a GIANT dog like Dane sized.
I stand 6'6' mostly leg and that dog sitting was to my waist, the freaky part I think someone crossed with a bull... it sat in a puddle of it's own nuts.
