Can't believe people are using urine to patina their brass and copper mods. WTF? I guess what ever floats your boat. At least it's not like others who are drinking their own urine claiming health benefits lmfao

Nothing surprises me anymore in the vaping community. I just seen a face book post asking if there was something cheaper than a $3 bag of organic cotton.

Just remember, it can't be your urine. So... have a friend piss on your hands, fondle your mod, let sit in the sun, clear coat. Easy peasy

Sorry. Couldn't resist. Urine has been used for a looooong time to force patina metal. I think it's mainly the ammonia content. Most reference was to animal variety but hey, use what's handy. If I remember a science class correctly urine is pretty much sterile...

Right right. Urine has and still is used widely around the world to remove stains from clothing. Many people wonder how very poor people from countries like India have such amazingly clean white clothes while living with dirt floors or roads. Urine plus sunshine beats bleach every time for getting stains out of clothes or keeping whites white. Never tried it myself though.

Urine has two of the components used in doing one kind of patina. Ammonia and Sodium. I personally would not use it. But there is a novelty to being able to say it's a pee patina. LOL

Soooo what you guys are telling me is that peeing all over my mods is something I shouldn't do? O.K. now I know. By the way my e- liquid smells funny

Let's be clear...no one is telling you not to pee on your own mods. Remember the rule You can pee on your friend and you can pee on your mod...but you can't pee on your friend's mod.
LOL..My friends thank you.

Using Urine for a patina does indeed work.

The Mrs. has a devil of a time removing "patina" from my underwear!
