I have been vaping for over 1 year and a half and about 7 months ago I got into sub ohm and all I need then was 50 watts for my coils and now it has bumped up to 66.6 watts (yes 66.6) but none the less I am running .12 ohm coils and I don't like vaping any higher then that even 100 watts in my IPv4 is high. Why is 200 coming out. I think it is too much.

Most of these so called 200 watt devices don't really have 200 true watts! Very few do actually, why not have 200 watts if it can be done safely ?
No one says you have to use it all! IMO better to have and not need than to need and not have :)

You need higher Wattage for special coils, like fused Clapton, in order to be able to heat them up quicker.
