New Line's upcoming Shazam! film won't be impacted by the performance of Warner Bros.' latest DC movies, according to producer Dany Garcia.
In an interview with Newsweek, Garcia said they aren't concerned about the current perception of the DCEU negatively impacting the film, noting that she and the film's leading man, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson "have incredible autonomy over this brand and franchise." According to Garcia, a key part of their agreement was that they would "be able to control the tone and the voice" of the film on their terms.
