Why do DNA mods go for so much more money?

Dude it's not even the DNA board. The 133 has a daughter board made by HCigar. If they said that in the description they'd never sell any of them. I wish I knew I could make it work without the board so I could yank it and have a good mod.
True but in 2 out of 4 of my VT133'S I have had a board failure. Then after the board was replaced in the 2nd one I had the daughter board fail in it. Look, I love my DNA'S. I'm not making this shit up. Watch Daniels video and he'll confirm what I'm saying. The DNA is not all that and a bag of chips. There are other options for the TC crowd. That's all I'm saying.

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the daughter board there for reverse polarity Protection since evolv didn't include it in the dna200. That's kinda a big deal to not include in an expensive top of the line board IMO. And yes I have a vt133 lol love it but still

Could be. My first failure was the daughter board. It wouldn't turn on unless plugged in. Escribe said a cell was missing. The down key was stuck when I got it back but it could be released but just a tap stuck it again. Then both got really weird saying all my attys were too low or broken. Got both back again, down key broken on one AND now the USB will only charge so I can't set up a wattage profile. So it's a brick.
Idfk. All I can be certain of is DNA mods are cool because of the many ways to tweak them. And I'll never buy another one. Mechs and FSK are the only reliable things I've found that will fire well under 0.1ohm which is the main reason I got a DNA mod.

Every mod fires that low now lol. Times have changed

Which ones are good? I'd like something that can do over 45a which is where the G2s limits are. A triple parallel is my best option thus far. I'd look into a triple reg too if I knew of some.

Such as? I havent seen many regulated mods that will pulse .06 kanthal builds, iv seen some but not many
NM I misread as fires down to .1 not below .1
As far as firing below .1 in power mode it's just the slice or G2 that I'm aware of. Also the 521 tab meters will as well. I never build on mods. Anyone building is better off with a meter IMO

I need a mod that can dump 130w or more into 0.09 thru 0.06...it's a huge leap in amperage each time you drop a hundredth.

The DNA 200 and preferably 250 can do a decent job. The FSK would knock it out if they had a triple. The iJoy Maxo can hit hard but Slippy knows more about it's limitations than I, he really likes his. Also the Lux.
We builders are pretty niche and the ones making SSFC and Staggerton variations with many layers are a niche within a niche. It probably adds a bit to the cost of the mod to go from the 35a norm down to the FSK's 45a and then again to the 60a that we want on a dual mod, so I understand why there aren't more of them. Plus going that low may shave off the voltage side so the dude with a 0.5ohm sub tank couldn't use it.
And good parallel mechs are few and far between then more so for a triple.

Edit: I've never used a meter. Even if I had a parallel box I'd still just use my G2. It has a DMM equivalent. If I didnt have that I'd just rig up a DMM.

Snowwolf & the Laisimo L1 are the only non FSK mods I have that will fire that low. A meter firing that low is irrelevant if you dont have a mod that will fire the build and there arent many mods that will

That's true but as whiteowl said it's a niche within a niche. I never understood it personally but if you are in a niche group, then the options will be much lower then the more popular options. And it's not like the g2 isn't a great mod. It really is. Also there is a mod raymo has I forgot what it's called but it fires super low and has a built in rda on it. Might be a mech though. I can't really remember but might be worth asking him

Earth mod v2. It's a lipo mech hybrid. Not some unregulated crap. Not very practical but powerful. A triple parallel is more practical.

The Red has held up pretty nice though.

Received the 5x OBS Crius plus. Loving it so far. My first tank where the top airflow is actually useful.
Nice score on those OBS Crius tanks, I should have ordered more than 2! Glad your friend could do that for you! They are awesome tanks!

Some my regulated will fire under 0.1. Its 0.05 in sx330-f8, ijoy solo mini 80w, and we all know the 75/200/250 DNA specs.
