Why vaping is not a gateway to smoking

alot of people do drugs...and I'll include alcohol as a drug....most people start out using drugs as a form or self medication for other issues they have. it is how those of us who grew up not being to afford weeklong yoga retreats on Maui. got through the horrors of our lives.... to assume that a kid goes from vaping to smoking is because it's a gateway ignores the fact the same kid may very well end up using pot or booze...

or he may end up vaping then using pot, alcohol, then hard drugs. By then he's like "fuck it" and starts smoking. Or would he have started smoking anyway if vaping weren't around? Like 20% of the population had been doing before vaping came along.
