Will the Wotofo Recurve work on the Revenger mini mod?

Hey guys I have a Vaporesso Revenger Mini and im thinking of using something else other than the pre-made coils that come the atomizer. I checked out the Wotofo Recurve RDA since it is only a single coil RDA and seems easy to learn on. What do you guys recommend? And what are some basic coils i can use for me to learn on?

Thanks

The recurve will work with your mod, if you don't build extremely low ohm, that would exceed your 85w mod. It's difficult to do tho with a single coil, but I still add this sentence for safety lol.

It's pretty straight forward and something I would call beginner friendly, especially with the little coiling rods they included, which can also be used as measurement for the length of your coil legs.

Only con I would give it in your situation, it's more a squonk rda, but if you don't mind dripping a bit more, than it's still a great rda. Just make sure if you purchase one to install the 510 pin that's included, because by default it comes with squonk pin installed.

I don't know what material you're interested in, but I use stainless steel only, and I get my spools from AVS (https://www.advancedvapesupply.com)
Right now they are having a 35% off sale on spools, all you would have to do is wrapping them..

But they do offer already wrapped coils (current sale does not apply here) that might be worth looking at. Hope it helps.

So getting an rda that holds dual coils is better for my restricted 85w mod output? Meaning that dual coils will have higher ohms than single coil? And regarding the Stainless Steel coils, is that just a preferance of yours or is it better in any way ? Can it be used in normal VW mode or i have to start using temp control?
(Sorry im just asking so many questions because im still new to all this but interested in it and i plan not to go back to the damn stinkies)

Dual coils are typically lower ohms and use more power than a single coil.
I drip using the recurve often, around a 6 or 7 spaced wrap coil of 22g stainless steel around.25-.2 ohms at 40-50 watts, very enjoyable vape. As said the recurve doesn’t have much of a juice well so you will have to drip every 3-4 good pulls, but I enjoy dripping with it, the flavor and smooth draw is very nice.

Another good choice of a single coil is the wasp nano, very affordable can be picked up for around 11$, excellent flavor as well and easy to build.

Stainless steel is my metal of choice as well, can be used in power mode or temp control, ohms lower than kanthal for the same gauge but the best vape for me personally. I’d recommend getting some 24 and 22g if you go with SS to experiment with simple single round wire coils.

The only issue I have is all I can find on their website is SS wire. They don't sell anything else?

I'm sensitive to nickel and have been told that kanthal and stainless steel is my only option. I tried both but personally I like the taste/flavor of SS better.

But that doesn't mean you need to do that, look around or even try a couple materials and see what you like best.

Dual coil would mean lower ohms since the resistance gets divided by 2, not added ;) you're better off going with single and it's also easier to learn, in most cases at least.

You could probably run dual or single depending on how you build your dual.
So essentially yes, you can run whatever you want. However, you’ll conserve power and get more run time out of a single coil rda; because, you aren’t splitting your output to two coils. (Simplistic way of looking at it).
I have; however, noticed the recurve tends to excel as a Squonk atty, as it can leak when in dropper mode and doesn’t have much of a juice well. Tht said, it doesn’t alway leak; but, is more prone to it when juice is coming from the top.
Some other nice single coil options for a good rda would be:
wasp, hadaly, pulse, ystar nuwa, asmodus c4lp, nudge and govad

Thanks f1r3b1rd for your feedback! I will look into other rdas at the moment but yeh I think its preferable to get a bigger mod with more options. Im just not fully equipped and experienced for building my own coils, keeping in mind that vaping products/equipment is hard to get by and expensive where I live (Lebanon).

I would agree with he bigger mod; if you’re looking for the higher performance and options to run bigger builds. A few years ago, I would have said to stay around 60-100w. Nowadays; depending on build you’ll want 100-200w, dual battery. If not for the power available; than for battery run time.
Some people run 150w on a regular basis. I’m more of a 60-90w vapor and get all day with a 150w, dual battery mod running dual coil builds at a 0.1-0.2 ohm resistance.
