A Cincinnati-area FM station known as The Oasis has adopted the WKRP call letters after buying them from a nonprofit station in North Carolina. To mark the launch, it played the sitcom’s theme song for six hours and will keep airing classic rock from the 1960s through the 1980s. [openculture.com]
