Hey Downstater!!!

Your avatar makes me think of this time at the breaktable a truck driver was sitting with us and the breeze blew my cloud in his face and he whined like a little bitch.

I said all the times I've blown it on your face and its vape that makes you cry??

Hey Upstater! Thanks to you I know a new location for Rome.

Those clouds get nasty. Especially the vanilla smelling stuff. People think you're spraying them with Glade or something.

When we were younger you would have known Rome cause if SHTF those nukes going over your head where headed to Rome.

SAC headquarters back then.

When I was growing up my apartment building had a designated fallout shelter in the basement, complete with ugly green barrels supposedly filled with biscuits to last 20 years (found a cool Geiger counter in one once). At that young tender age I was already smart enough to know I'd rather be dead than have to spend 6 months in that basement.

Very common here with the air base.

We where also told we'd all be dead in the first strike so not to really worry about it.

B-52's overhead where a normal part of life.

Now that I recall it wasn't until BRAC we even realized how normal they were.

Quiet now.

The turned right over the farm to land (20 miles away) and they are HUGE. Seemed like you could touch them from the tractor seat.

I'm by Ft Hood and sometimes see those HUGE cargo military planes flying over. C-5??? Not sure. But they look like a giant whale in the sky. They're so big, they don't even look like they're moving.

I've never seen that movie.

Well, don't worry, there's a lot more to it than just that one scene. You guys should watch it. It's pretty funny!

It is rather uplifting to have the chains off, I might even take my pants off to celebrate :sneaka:

"Oh, NO, Oddball's got no underwear!"

That one's from 101 Dalmations. ;)

Oh, boy, Rixy, good thing you're not having Chinese, 'cuz I'm VERY hungry! :)

I remember the drills where you got under your desk in school.
Like that was going to help.....

I remember the drills, but we would go out into the hall, away from the windows, and sit on the floor with our heads down, the kiss-your-ass-goodbye position. :D And I concur, I would far rather be at Ground Zero in the event of some cataclysm, than live to suffer the aftermath. Which is one reason I think very fondly of maybe SE Washington state; if that massive magma chamber under and all round Yellowstone decides to get frisky, SE WA would go pretty fast! :D
