Good thing you guys always have lots of charged batteries around. Although blindly leaning over to grab a quick vape before drifting off could result in a cracked tooth if not paying attention.

Night kids! Sleep well!

G'afternoon folks.

I need some *gasp* vape advice. :D I want to try one of these new tank/mod setups in addition to my squonkers.

What I am looking for:

Rebuildable Deck, prebuilts as well.

Direct lung hits womper range but on the extreme end, I don't think I will ever vape 100+ watts but if the mod has it cool. Not interested in TC at all.

Single 18650 would be ideal but again I'm flexible but nothing outrageous I am not trying to lug around a battery bank. Any suggestions?

Gosh Reign I'm horrible at vape advice. I'm sure someone here or on the ECF Refugee thread (other than me:oops:) can answer.

Well well well......................step right in..............

Single 18650 mods for me are mostly home mods these days. I'm mostly in the 5--75 watt range and a single battery annoy's me. For pocket use I use a Pico and Baby Beast. But I VERY rarely pocket anymore. At work I have to leave whatever in my locker, in my truck I can have anything and at home the sky is the limit.

The RX200 is a favorite in this house. My wife and I have two each. Just a great mod. Lasts all day at 75w. Feels great in the hand. Cheap.

I don't do TC.

Hexohm is my baby. She don't leave the house. I have a V3. Everyone should have a Hex. Or 6.

For my Kayfuns for light duty I love my DNA 40 mods and the SX Mini is still a great mod but seems VERY heavy these days for a single.

Tanks. I have a couple. Couple hundred. I get bored with them but thats all I use at work which is where I basicly live so tanks are important.

Gemini, 22 and 25mm. Bulletproof. Never leak. Easy to build. I have a bunch. In the 50w range you really can't go wrong.

Limitless Plus. Fun tank. Easy to build so when I'm bored I try something new. Kind of a piece of shit and zero flavor but she can chuck so fuckin cloudz bro. Fun toy but little real world value.

TFV4. Hate the RBA so its a screw in coil tank for me. It has like 20 coil options and I only like one. But its a solid tank if you find a coil you like.

TFV8. The Beast. This tank is my fucking home slice. Vapes at 75w with a nice cool vape full of flavor. The cloudz are to the point of embarrassing. Hate the RBA for this as well. Only like the T8 coil but they last a really long time and are only a few bucks. YOU MUST HAVE A SOURCE OF CHEAP JUICE or you'll be in the poor house. If you make your own lower the flavoring or its sickening.

Baby Beast. Great little carry tank.

Starre Pure?? Ask again in a couple days.

Aspire Cleito. Fucking garbage. I've spend so much trying to like this I could cry. Junk garbage. Its the Dodge of the vape world.

RBA guy at home. Not much squonking. hate mechs including the Reo but use a Dripbox with a Sapor. Thats not a bad setup.

Mostly drippers. Goon is the star of my show. Troll V2 in 22 and 25mm is a great one also. Petri when I'm chillin with some very special high plains juice.

Thing is with a single battery you're only going to get to 60W without having virtually zero battery life. So 100+W should really take a 2 battery solution. On the affordable side you can get anything from an iPV to a Smok 200 to an RX2/3 all for a good price. If you want a tank with a nice build deck and a factory coil option, I'd say the Tornado Nano. Beautiful full sized Velocity deck that's a real RTA, not an RBA feel, and available "chip" coils, which are factory dual coils which work as nice as any factory coil I ever tried (0.3 and 0.6 ohms available, only used the 0.3 though). Performs beautifully at 60W. And it's cheap ~$20 at Ecig. Look at the Ecig sales too, they're usually really good, and as long as you'er not interested in TC, any of the midrange mods they have will work great.

Wow thanks for all the info, so far it seems an RX maybe the way to go and am interested in the TFV's for a bit having heard a lot about them. I only need it for 4 hours at a time since I come home from work at noon to walk the dog. Not a cloud chaser per-se but definitely love lung fulls of delicious vapor. As far as juice I still buy some $$ juice but cut it with unflavored at 1/4 to 3/4 so that's a non-issue.

Since I will be squonking at home pre-built coils would be a nice thing honestly. Does that sound like I am headed in a good direction?

ETA: Quick glimpse at the RX200 seems like something I would be into a lot, price is great selling point and the TFV8 seems very interesting.

I'm a nic junkie and IIRC your not. But the TFV8 on a RX200 is a nic injector. I do 3mg and thats plenty. A good session can have me skaking.

The T8 coils is rated for 250w but 75 is my sweet spot.

With your use I can see you getting a Month out of a 4 dollar coil.

The coil itself is not like anything you have ever seen. Its pretty amazing.

I have a 200 and a 200s. About the same but the 200s has a better screen.

If I had to leave for a deserted island I would take the 200 and TFV8.

Nic junkie , not sure at the moment I am using dual coils @ .5 ohms 9mg nic. Oh and that's another thing I can't vape more than 50% VG so I am DL hitting very high PG.

And having a ton of 36mg nic base and PG/VG I can custom make whatever level I like based on what the device is doing.

If thats on a mech I like 12mg at .4 so about the same

To me PG is like vaping kerosene so I don't know what it would be like for you. 50% PG and 0mg nic out of a Kayfun would have me coughing so bad I'd wanna die. Out of the TFV8 no lie it would kill me dead.

70% PG is my sweet spot on my mech, so it sounds like I could drop that a tad to 55/60% and then drop the nic to 3mg (or lower if needed) and it would be a pleasant vape for me.

And yeah the 9mg is on a mech which I just increased up from my normal 6mg after a bout of smoking. So I think in that regard it would be all good. Not sure how I am managing it but with high PG I have gotten comments about the clouds and had to tone it down some.

Regulated is actually easier than a mech. You have a lot more flexibility in your builds as you don't have the same hard limits as a mech. I have an RX200S and like it, but it is bigger with three batteries. I'm good with that, for some it's too big. The RX2/3 offers the choice of either the 2 or 3 battery configuration, good when you want to change things up size wise. Can't vouch for the longevity of how that will work out with swapping battery backs.

TFV4 and 8 are smoke machines and perform great. Yes, you will probably need to lower your nic with them compared to 9 mg in a 0.5 ohm dripper. you can try it and see how you like it, but don't surprised if it really kicks you.

Yeah sounds like 3mg or in between will be the first batch I need to make, and I do like the idea of using 2 or 3 batteries. Which I am sure I will be using 2 full time I am never away from home or would vape at the level 3 batteries would be needed.

Another little tid bit is the 9mg on my dripper I constantly have it in my hand huffing on it non-stop and I mean huffing not hitting. Which is what I want to move away from.

Anything regulated is so far out of my wheel house I am going to have a lot of researching to do.
From mech to reg, probably be happiest with the "cheap and easy" solutions in wattage mode. I am the last one to try to tell anyone what they should be using because so few agree with anything I use, but a simple 30-40W single 18650 mod - one that is very reliable and cheap in case you decide you don't want it after all ... I have iStcik30, iStick40, Cloupor mini (30W) and Cloupor mini+ (40W), iStick60... all in the $25-40 range, and someone PIF'd me a $200 SXmini 75W (which I understand can now be had for $60). Some of those have TC but I don't use it on them and I don't vape any of the above higher than 20W (most at 7-15W), so the single battery works fine and lasts 2-3 days before recharge. Tanks? I have KangerTech Protank, Protank-2, Nautilus, SQuape (easily rebuildable for those of us who don't like rebuilding), and JustFog. My favorite is the old Protank. Dirt cheap and they use replaceable atty (BHC) at just over a buck each (in quantity) and each lasts me 4-6 weeks (because I vape at lower watts and don't get turned off with a little gunk). Juice? Most people claim the above gear works best at 50-70% PG, but I vape max VG and am having no problem whatsoever with this equipment.

I kinda like RX2/3 personally, though in all honesty I have only used it with three batteries. But being able to switch it to 2 batteries if you wanted it to be a bit smaller is a nice feature. Just something to think about.

I did try the Kanger Subbox with it's tank and coils and hated it, couldn't give the vape I wanted so I gave it away to a friend. Which is the only reason I am leery of starting small again.

I am heavily leaning towards it and one of the TFV tanks reading all of this, I am a womper that could've very easily went cloud chaser but upped the ohms to stay safe.

That's the same as me. When I do low power/high nic I have to be hitting that thing non-stop.

High power like the TFV8 and some 3mg I can hit that shit for a few minutes on my break and not even think about vaping for hours.

It sounds like you and I vape very similarly I think the RX200 with the TFV8 will be the first choice and if I need to dial it back I have a capable mod and change the tank.

Gonna have to look at the TFV8. How different is it from the TFV4?

What am I thinking? I will not buy any more tanks, I will not buy any more tanks, I will not...well, OK, I will only buy another tank if it is either rebuildable or takes the same coils as the Atlantis/Triton/Supertank...

OK, so how different is the TFV8 from the TFV4?

Geez, guess I do need to go to the darkside. I'm soooooooooo tired of the nic gum and the latest one I have is "sugar coated". So who knows what that's doing to these old teeth!

70% PG is my sweet spot on my mech,
I vape 75 pg on my Reo. One thing you might wanna try if you haven't already is the SS316L wire. I went from duals in a Rm8 derringer at 1.3 ohms, down to .5 ohm duals just by switching the wire. No way could I vape .5 ohms with kanthal. The SS wire is sooooooo smooth. Nice th, but not harsh

Deb has been trying for almost a year! I give up!
Only cuz I can't get ya over here. Come over Friday after work and I'll have ya up and coiling. Then you and Kad will have more snuggle time :p

Hell last week a huge gang fight broke out near my bedroom window. Lotta yelling and screaming and police and one man dead. I didn't hear about it until I got to work and was asked what I thought about it..
dangggggg that's a bit scary to sleep that soundly.

I don't know about that. I mean, I loved watching Father Knows Best and The Andy Griffith show. And those were before my time.
JUP!

I love all the old programs... the ones BEFORE mass murder, huge explosions, blood and gore everywhere, vampires and zombies... you know, like Mayberry.
Absolutely!!! It astounds me what folks watch these days. Loved the old wholesome shows. Waltons, Andy Griffith, Little House, etc.

I might put my spiderman ones on tonight

Yea I don't even "get" more than half of them.
glad I'm not the only one. A lot of em go right over my head.

I bet you put them on/in the headboard when you are ready to sleep - close to your head? If you haven't turned them off, they are still generating EMR that interferes with your brain patterns/rhythm.
I need to tell my son this...... he has a lot of trouble getting to sleep or staying asleep, but jup, has his and hers cell phones on the headboard thingy right by their heads. They both charge them at night and use them as alarm clocks. DIL doesn't sleep well either. They finally did put the TV on a timer to go off in their room and GD's room. Drives me nuts that a 7 yr old has a TV going at night. She's always had that on.

So, if I shifted my schedule to an evening schedule, I'd be going to bed around 5 am and getting up around 1 which ain't happening.
now see........I've always been upside down in sleeping even when I was a baby. That schedule fits me perfectly!

I have to leave in a little while as well. My son and I are headed to the local community college to see about getting him back in his classes. He can't drive so I'm the nominated designated driver.
oh kewl!! Does he know what he wants to study, or just getting basics done now? My son will be 32 in Nov, but he just enrolled in the community college. Gettin pre-req's done now, but will be enrolling in nursing. He'll be doing at least a 2 yr RN. If it goes well and the money works out ok, he may go for a BSN

Havent been around much, been working hard on my place and if anyone wants to see what I been up to I posted some pictures on the ECF refugee thread. Hopefully in a couple more weeks things will start to return to normal for me and I can spend some time with yall
Good to see ya. Have been wondering how you are doing.

SO - Atcha is the original BAD one
Don't be pickin on my atcha now! :p

Yeah, wait a minute, see, it's not all my fault after all. I wasn't always Bad Kad. I didn't become bad until after I started hanging out in the Woom and met you guys, including Atcha. She's a bad influence, she made me bad.
Yeah...... uhmmm...... you shoulda gotten in a lotta trouble for that one! lol

with sweet, gooey marshmallows.
Isn't that a real coil gunker??? :D

but I'm scared of the women here so I have the back bone of a cocktail stick.
Smart man!!

in the vape room
Vape ROOM?? and a pool?? Ok, that's it, you just need to adopt me! hehehe

Insomnia sucks! Would someone please come up with a solution to solve it? NOW would be a good time to do so.
Morning Rixsta, Emmy, Reign, kad, Debadoo
wish I had one. Hope you find something that helps hun! I can pretty much sleep now whenever I need to and can, but for a few decades I lived on very little sleep, and coffee, cokes, and smokes.

Trazadone knocks you out, my ex wife used to take those.
didn't knock me out. I have a high pain tolerance, but also apparently have a high tolerance to pain meds and knock ya out meds. It's good that most things don't make me loopy, but it's bad, cuz it takes stronger pain meds to get any relief, and now around here it all went to Class II and you just about need an act of Congress to just get weak vicodin.

didn't take long for my Emmy to be corrupted by y'all
US???? Yur the one that's around her all the time.......just sayin :p

It's irrelevant to me if "he has a chance" or not; I simply REFUSE to vote either R or D for prez this time around. If Gary Johnson wasn't in the running, I'd simply abstain, because i will NOT vote for a criminal OR a lunatic.
I totally agree on the purple part. But most are saying that voting for Johnson is going to hand the election to Trump.

Also, I drink a cup of cocoa at bedtime, made with warm milk instead of water.
Glad that works for you, but Cocoa has twice as much caffeine as coffee or tea. But you may not be bothered by caffeine. I'm not. I can drink a nice cup of cocoa especially in the winter and go right to bed

Awe you're so sweet debadoodle!!!
thanks, but that's more selfish than sweet. I want you here, even though we don't get to see each other much. :inlove:

So I watched the debate (first one this round) and have come to a conclusion based on my gut feeling. Trump is crazy, but I don't trust Hillary as far as I could throw her with two broken arms. There is just something sneaky and underhanded about that woman her smile makes my skin crawl.
Couldn't agree more!! Cept I didn't watch the debate. Hearing or seeing either of them just makes me nauseous. Couldn't handle watching a whole debate.

I totally agree on the purple part. But most are saying that voting for Johnson is going to hand the election to Trump.

And if people keep saying stupid shit like that and people believe it, it will hand it to one of them. But I refuse to have my vote directed by idiots, criminals, or lunatics.

@Debadoo Right now he's trying to get his GED. He quit school back in early spring because he was being a bit bullied at school and had teachers that didn't care whether he learned or not. He had a seizure the first of June, started school when the new semester started mid July, had another seizure the 1st of August that caused him to dislocate his shoulder and chip a portion of the humerus bone. Had surgery to fix that the 1st of August as well. It was his right arm, he couldn't write so they wouldn't let him finish the semester, nor could he drive because of the 2nd seizure. Now he's back in to finish getting his GED, then get his CNA I&II license so he can work while taking his pre-req's for nursing.

I'm not sure how that's stupid. He's not going to win, that's a given. He'll pull votes from both, but history shows he'll likely pull more from one than the other one. I'm just not sure which one he'll pull more from.

We're still working on the seizure part. He's had an MRI and an EEG. He goes back to the neurologist the first of October for the results of those. He's on Kepra now to hopefully prevent any more seizures. Only problem is I work evenings and he goes to school in the evenings. He's not allowed to drive for 12 months IF he remains seizure free.

Is there any kind of bus system? Or maybe someone in his class he can ride with? With the disability of the seizures, there might be a service that would come pick him up at the house and take him to class, and bring him home. It would be worth checking into if you haven't already. The school might have info on it if there is one, or check with aged and disabled
