I know this is from yesterday, but I'm just now getting caught up. I was GLAD they called, because what if it hadn't come back on? We can't do anything without electricity here, including flushing the damn toilet. The water pump in the well is electric. No lights, no heat, no water, no nothing. And worst of all, NO COFFEE! I know you don't drink coffee, but I do, and lots of it, and I can't get going properly in the morning without it. ;) I would never say bad words to anyone at the electric company. My life is in their hands! LOL!

@Eskie, my red and black RX200 is perfect, but the second one I just got wouldn't take the Limitless tank. It just wouldn't screw onto it, like the hole was too big or something. I dunno. I put a heat sink on it, which screwed in just fine, and the tank screws into the heat sink, and now it's also perfect. So try that before you think about tearing out and replacing the 510 connector. Maybe it will work.

My uncle had that situation for years at his house, on a well, with an electric pump -- he had a gas water heater, but if the power's off, makes no diff, no water anyway! We're on "city water" here, and I discovered something really interesting last summer when there was a water main break down the street and they had to turn off the whole street's water to get it fixed -- we have a reverse-osmosis filter at our kitchen sink, so the 5gal tank under there allows us to have a trickle even when the water's off -- great for when you get ejuice on your hands and just HAVE to rinse them off! :giggle: It's hydraulic rather than electric, so even if there's no power, it's available.

My daughter's boyfriend is from Tulsa, and they get a lot of tornadoes there.
Oh they are a lot worse in Oklahoma.
Good morning all :)
Another night with sleep problems so today will be a looooong day! :blech::coffee2:
Hey Lynn. Sorry about your sleep problems. Try and take a nap. :)
Thanks Emmy!! Me too. :) The good thing is I have nothing pressing to do today and don't have to be at work until 4 so I have plenty of time for naps. ;)
Good idea. hehehehe

That's what mine did too. I'm weird in that I like consistency so I guess that's why my heat sinks are in a box somewhere.
Yeah, there are more expensive / better quality ones, I have forgot the name of them, they are much better. Resistance will move slightly as the coils heat up and cool down but these were jumping 1 ohm at times, that is not cool lol

:giggle::giggle::giggle:
And I thought you were shy.
I didn't even respond with words, ain't getting it to that buddy, she is very shy, so I dunno, maybe your behavior has corrupted her :)

No they can jump Debs, up and down, then settle, that's usually the pattern, they would also jump as your vaping

That's really weird -- I use those finned heat sinks on both of my Achilles RDAs, because one of them, the threads have worn almost completely smooth -- but they've never caused a problem with the resistance at all, even when I was using stainless TC.

Could work but I'm concerned the heat sink would end up messing with the TC by alerting the resistance. Maybe it's one of those thing to try and see how it works out. It's not a biggie, as it's only that one tank.

I had a cat that would sleep on my head. Maybe the cat did it because she liked being catapulted across the room in the middle of the night when I tossed her off.
OMG lol!!!
I have insomnia so I don't sleep with my dogs. And I won't be sleeping with any pigs under my bed anymore either.
Lynn, I hope you do get in a nap. The "hehehe" above was meant that I posted "nap" and then saw your posting. But I realized it may have seemed as though I was "heheeing" your lack of sleep.
Coffee break time.
Oh and Deb, yes, it POURED at my house. Had to drive the truck to work this morning. The dirt road was mud puddle city.

I grew up with an electric pump on a well. Not fun sometimes and the water was awful.

Hi Andria, you probably have the better ones, I need to go find the name of them now. I have found if you screw the pin on the heatsink out too much from the inside, that can cause it too.

Let me go find the name of them.......Kepler, those are the ones that are decent.

Hesitating to put this here considering all of the high powered hardware you guys have but oh well...I'm a happy camper right now.
I won a Pico Mega at ECF and DHL just delivered it.:banana::bunny::bunny::stars2::stars2:

Most of us here are mid range, some do MTL, a mixed bunched really, it's usually only a few of us that go clouds bro clouds and I don't vape like that all the time

I have 12 Pico's nope, that wasn't a typo lol

My latest

Thanks! I like that one! I only have 2 now. The 75W one and now this 80W Mega. This was considered a consolation prize. It wasn't consolation for me....it was the one I wanted! Since I have to stealth vape at work, the Pico's are perfect. Very pocket friendly. :)

I have no idea what these are; a very kind and generous soul PIFed them to me when I started having problems with one of my Achilles' threads getting so smooth. I do know that they're different; one of them, I had to adjust the screw on the bottom to make it work at all; the other was just PnP as I received it.

My only major problem with cursing are people who use it when there's no real need -- they're not angry or in pain, they just have limited imagination and vocabulary. As I told my son when he was a teen... if you've just dropped a hammer on your foot, or someone just cut you off in traffic and nearly caused you to wreck your car, 4 letter words are acceptable -- at home, anyway. Otherwise... there are a LOT of other words. :D

Of course, we throw around a lot of 4 letter words in the fugee thread... just 'cuz we're playin'. :D

We've had a little rain since I posted earlier, but not much. Weird.

wahooooooo that's great!!! On the pick your own prizes, I've sometimes been picking those. Think they'd be neat to try. Usually am picking at least a 150w mod though. I mostly only use reos, but have a couple tanks, so would like to have a good mod, and would like to at least try TC at some point, but doubt that I'll go for that as a rule.

My only 2 Pico's. The silver one I bought, the white one I won. :)
I said this to Eskie, think it was him but I think Istick dropped the ball on the mega, not that it's a bad mod, not at all but if your going to make a mega version why would you still limit it to only take 22mm tanks, I'd buy one in a heart beat if my Serpent Mini 25mm could fit on there.

I don't swear because every other word my dad used was fuck, usually ending in off, directed at me so I just don't do it.
Oh except then, sorry, didn't mean to offend anyone.
I'm not offended. Sorry you were treated so bad. Wow. That's awful.
I use the f-word if I'm REALLY angry but not directed to people. Oh, and every morning and afternoon driving to and from work. Kidding.

I only use the f word if I'm frustrated, which doesn't happen very often. I work with 2 guys that throw that word around so much that after hearing it every other word, I normally just shut them off. I can think of better 4 letter words to use in general conversation.

I don't have any 25mm tanks. My OCD can't handle the tank overhang. ;)

Loads of mods take a 25mm with no overhang and that was my point with the Pico Mega, they should of made that atty side 3mm more considering the increase in size with that 22650 battery so a 25mm would sit flush. They lost a lot of sales because of that.

hmmmmmm wonder if this is why the ohms were jumpin around on one of Lannie's tanks. Would it cause that, or would it just cause it to read wrong but stay steady?

I wasn't using a heat sink under those Goblin minis, Deb, they just have bad posts I think. I still haven't stuffed anything down there to fix them, though. I have the one that Coolerat sent that works perfectly (when I get the wicking "just right"), and I've been using that one for now. Later, when I get bored, I'll fiddle with those other ones.

I grew up with an electric pump on a well. Not fun sometimes and the water was awful.

We're lucky, we have excellent water here. Our well goes down into a pristine aquifer and the water is clean and good, and has no impurities in it at all. It's one of the main draws to this place and why we're still here. I know we won't find water this good just anywhere.

Could work but I'm concerned the heat sink would end up messing with the TC by alerting the resistance. Maybe it's one of those thing to try and see how it works out. It's not a biggie, as it's only that one tank.

I've never used TC, just wattage, and I never thought of that. Sorry. I forgot almost everyone uses TC now.

Home time, couldn't get the setups, clean out, more coming on Wednesday so a few days wait. I did try Jimmy's, blew the TFV8 away for flavor, amazing tank, probably the best sub ohm tank on the market right now.

Going to the chippy and I know this is so lazy of me but your here, do you want fish n chips getting ? I'm picking the children up on the way home too, not sure if mom has fed them, hmmm, at this time, probably but you know them, they will still want something haha.

you don't put a U in flavor either, I thought all brits except me only missed it out, that's from hanging with the womps across the pond, it's become a norm, what's your excuse ?
'ear now, sewwy wabbits... do ya still put that U in colour? The one that always blew me away was aluminium (as opposed to our aluminum). There's Brit English and Yankee English and sometimes never the twain shall meet. But usually we learn to understand each other.
