I just got it and am noticing that as the battery life goes down so does the power applied to the coil. It's acting like an unregulated mod. I have a TFV8 on top with a .15ohm coil. I have the wattage set at 100w and when I fire it the voltage is sitting around 2v. Any ideas?

I've never had a regulated mod act like that. The battery meter is still showing just less than half and the mod is barely able to break 2v. I read the article you posted and didn't see any references to the mod acting like that. Did I miss something?

I do not have that mod so I'd be guessing but maybe the batteries are lower than displayed.
Maybe remove the TFV8, hit the fire button, power it off, charge batteries, power on, re-attach TFV8, and try again.
I've had more odd things happen.
Sometimes making it re-read the atty helps.
It may be incorrectly reading the resistance.
