Speaking at Comic-Con, Director Bryan Singer introduced the first X-Men: Apocalypse trailer by saying that the film opens on a world that has come to accept mutants for the most part, due to Mystique's (Jennifer Lawrence) actions in the end of Days of Future Past. It's 1983, and for unknown reasons, Apocalypse (Oscar Isaac) has awoken.
