I would keep in mind that yes you can find the Q pre orders going right now with up to 20% off but Yihi has been pretty strict in the past about not honoring warranties if it was purchased significantly below what their price point list is. Just something to consider. I used the warranty once on a M and so for me it is something to consider.

Wondering if CA vape shops can get the pre orders out before the new laws go in effect .

Even though I started this thread I started dragging my feet on this device. I recently bought the Renegade RGX II and figured I was content but I ended up caving and ordered one of these. I hope the size and weight is not cumbersome to me. So hopefully for those of us that pulled the trigger the wait does not drag on.

Vape Royalty. I went with the brown panels.

I am looking forward to some replaceable panel upgrades in the future. Maybe some nice wood panels can be had.

I'll probably go for black and silver though I was tempted by the brown. This will be my first Yihi device. I thought about a DNA200, but that seemed like it be more of a pain in the ass. This is a good middle ground. Yes, and wood panel would be cool.

The Vape NW 20% off is no longer an option for the Q. I was originally going to order from them but the code does not work for the SX anymore. Not sure if it is because it is getting close to being available, or if it was removed at Yihi's request since in the past they have been strict about purchase price.

I was tempted by the Efusion Duo on Vape NW site. Came with both the lipo and the sled for the 133w along with multiple panels and with 20% off it was like 136.00ish but I have a dna 200 and favor my SX mods.

If you pull the trigger the previous SX mods are smooth operators, so I expect the Q to be as well. I totally dig the Renegade RGX II which is a dual batt SX350J V2 board. Varitube is now offering custom graphics on the RGX as well.

I am still not totally convinced that they can boost two 18650 batts to put out 200w, but they can boost to 9.5v so maybe, but either way I am not vaping 200w on any device so for me the topic is mostly moot. Except in the past Yihi has been true to their claims and and would hate to see them go down the road of inflated claims.

Good luck on whatever you decide. I have little doubt that the Q will be solid. I just hope the size and weight do not limit my use of the device.

Vapevoyalty has the same deal, and I think you still can get it from them. I don't know I haven't pulled the trigger yet.

Lemme know what your think of it when you get it a vape on it a while.
You got it man.

I have been contemplating the warranty issue with buying under msrp with this mod, and I am convincing myself unless bad luck happens the issue may be moot now that they have changed their warranty from 12 months on the device and 3 months for the usb to 6 months device and 3 usb.

My big gift to myself this year was going to be a DNA200 but I really like the simplicity of the SX chip and the looks of the Q-Class. I'm looking forward to reading feedback from all the early adopters.

Can anyone tell me why the warranty is so short on the usb. I have phones 4 years old charged with a usb that still works fine. Do they use really cheap usb connectors on these mods or what? Just doesn't make sense to me.

They tend to be a weak point, so I only use them for fw upgrades.

Is it possible to get a true 200 watts with only two 18650 ?
SXMINI Q class w/SX450 chip has an output of 9.5 volts. The SXMini Q class is capable of safely reaching 200 watts with dual 18650 batteries. The hard facts 1) Output 9.5 volts 2) .45 ohm build 3) = 200 watts @ 21 amps. The SX350J V1&V2 chips also have 9.5 volt output.

The other sx350J boards just got a update that takes them to the same claimed 200w .

As was said by Roxy the usb is a weak point on mods. Other than the dna 200 I don't use them for charging as updates are more important than charging to me. Of course many ppl do charge with the usb and they are not typically breaking in 3mths so it is essentially them covering their ass not to replace mods over the usb.

That makes sense. I really don't get these people that insist on charging their mods using USB. If you need USB to charge there are chargers that let you charge with a USB port. I believe the Xstar chargers allow for that. You can get a good charger for under $15 on amazon. I believe the Nitecore i2 can be had for around $13. Besides charging on a charger improves your battery life, and protects your mod and most importantly does so safely.

The updates have been out for a few days now, I updated my Mini and J chip mod.
Kind of a useless update thou :( I wont buy a pure tank if they don't disclose what the coil material is?
I can't see how anyone in their right mind would vape a mystery metal :(

I've been seeing that it looks like they're changing the colors already to a titanium instead of silver and red instead of blue. I think it's from the first run, too, so if I'm right I hope I can change it with vape royalty.

Me too. I've sent an email so we'll see what they come back with. This is the mod I've been waiting for and I can't stand the logo they out on it. Hope they change it.

Seems like Yihi announced this mod too early. They still seem to be nailing down the final design (Aluminum or Zinc, frame color) after stores starting taking pre-orders.

PS If they go with Zinc Alloy (as it seems like the production units will be), it's going to be heavy.

Cheers,
Steve

So, any idea when we might be seeing these. I thought it was originally rumored mid April.
